I had Oscar’s ceviche, battered shrimp and fish tacos, and their surf burrito. All of these items were absolutely delicious and the sauces added a delightful touch.
I ordered the items online and they were ready within about 15-30 minutes after ordering! We ended up taking our food to the beach and having a lovely seaside picnic. I would highly recommend Oscars Mexican Seafood and will definitelt be back!!

Amazing and consistent food as always. We always get the surf and turf taco, fish taco and get amazed everytime. The sauces are bomb! Not a lot of space to eat in and could be a long wait - just a caution.

Perfectly cooked tender octopus and shrimp. Skip the battered fish which is pretty tasteless. The smoked fish is probably the most flavorful and must get taco flavors, also included in the especial taco. Tons of veggies. A little pricy for tacos but they do load it pretty full with fresh ingredients

Awesome food. I came last time I was here and had to come back ! You might miss it as you’re driving by but it’s worth the stop! They are pretty quick to get your order out and the white and pink sauces in the fridge are essential. I like the smoked fish tacos and tacos especial. My mom ordered the garden seafood salad with mixed seafood and said it was the best salad she had ever had. (And she has had quite a few salads in her day)

If you’re looking for the best seafood tacos on the west coast, this is the spot! Amazing tacos with delicious sauces. We got the beer bettered fish, octopus, and shrimp tacos. Shrimp was DEFINITELY the winner. A little kick to make you reaching for more. The chips and guac are also mind blowing.
Pro tip: get the shrimp tacos and don’t sleep on the sauce.

I ordered the smoked fish tacos and chips and guacamole and they were so good! I recommend both and will be heading back. Best chips and guacamole I have ever had.

Honestly, really good tacos - large portion size and great quality. Excellent ceviche, probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t let this little stand deceive you, it will become love.
Spicy shrimp taco all the way. The shrimp and chorizo was so good, I’m probably going back again today.

First time to Oscar’s the other day, and it was fantastic! All outdoor seating which was nice in the warm weather. Tacos were large and mostly delicious (seafood was far better than the skirt steak). Overall a great experience, but they could try to get some more seating as we had to wait awhile to sit down… We probably should have just taken our food to go though.

Craving fish tacos? This place is a must!
I used to come here frequently growing up in SD. I moved a few years ago but this place is always on my list to visit each time I come back to the city. I was visiting my family for the holidays and started off the New Years with Oscars.
Highly recommend the battered fish tacos. 3 tacos are enough to not be bloated afterwards but somehow I end up with 4 because I don't know when the next time I'll have it. I've tried a handful of items on their menu but I keep going back to these tacos.
Their fish is absolutely fresh and locally sourced. Don't forget to grab some sauce and ask for lime! The light red chipotle sauce is delicious and not spicy. Surprisingly the green sauce had a small kick.
Seating is outdoors and may be hard to get. Next best option is take it down to the beach and enjoying the food while watching the surfers and the beautiful costal view.

We expected so much more out of this fish taco stand. It looks like the perfect place for amazing fish tacos. A little hole in the wall with long lines, a nice selection of tacos and it just looks like a place with great tacos. Unfortunately, our fish tacos had a strong fishy taste and ruined the tacos. Maybe it was just a bad batch of fish, but it wasn't good. I'll say the Chipotle sauce is excellent!! They should make that and sell it on its own. Overall, probably a great place based on reviews, but not this time for us.
