Absolutely delicious food with a dog friendly patio. There's tons of parking at that end of the mall with a validation station right outside the restaurant. All the food we ate was absolutely amazing. Our server, Daniel, was incredibly nice and funny. Two of us got the fresh catch meal and it was definitely our favorite part of the meal. The dulce de leche spring rolls were a great way to cap off our night.
Very fresh ???? and calamari. Very good service both times we’ve been. The quick review: it’s pricey, but high quality. Nothing we’ve tried has disappointed. Definitely try the poke/ceviche sampler, and they have oysters ???? if you ask. The plates are good too, a lot of varied flavors for different palettes. They even have full on veggie options, and some meat options, for those not so oceanically inclined. (Read: picky).
We love this place for a great meal once in a while since it is a bit more expensive (though on or for UTC restaurants). So probably on or for many UTC shoppers ????. You’ll enjoy your meal here, though, and ultimately, great food is worth every ????.

We came during happy hour between 3-5pm. This place is the best in terms of location, parking, and what they offer. Outdoor patio is dog friendly.
The restaurant is located at the east end of the mall where Sears used to be. It faces Town Centre Drive so it’s better to come in on that entrance vice the main one off La Jolla Village Dr.
The parking lot is huge and always empty spaces because not many businesses are on this side yet. However, you still need to pay for parking if you exceed the free two hours.
I got the trio ($19) which is a sampler of poke and ceviche where you select 3 and it comes with wonton and tortilla chips. I picked Serrano ahi, classic sea bass and Baja shrimp.
It came in a platter on ice with some veggie as decoration or you can eat it. Sauce and seaweed. My favorite was the Serrano ahi. It had so much flavor than the classic ahi. Don’t be afraid of spices because you can pick the peppers out and it won’t be spicy. The sea bass did not sit well with my tummy. Next time, I’ll double up on the Serrano ahi and get Baja shrimp as the third item.
For drinks, I got the guava-Rita ($10). It was delicious that I had a party that weekend and recreated it from the Guava juice from Costco and margarita mix.

Had dinner here with friends. The place is nice and the staff is friendly. My big disappointment is that the menu is highly lacking in options. Yes, it seems like an extensive menu for a seafood restaurant, but upon further analysis you'll see they really only offer 4 items. Grilled Salmon, seared Tuna, blackened Sea Bass, and fried Cod. Then they proceeded to offer those same items with similar accompaniments in different presentations. You can get it on a bowl, in a taco, on a salad, on a bun... And they just call it something else.
I was honestly disappointed at this lack of fish selection for a seafood place.

We were sat immediately
Huge menu
Lots of parking!

It's decent but nothing spectacular considering how hard it is to get a table. The raw stuff was good with some tasty poke and ceviche. The fish was also cooked pretty well and seasoned adequately. But nothing really stands out, and it feels like you could get something equivalent at a much cheaper restaurant.

All four of us ordered one of the bowls. Every one of them was delicious. I had the Mexican bowl. They were very generous with the shrimp.
We wanted to sit outside but the heat lamps were too much for us. The inside space was very nice. Our server was awesome.

My new favorite seafood restaurant. Good appetizers but loved the fresh catch entrees. You pick the fish then the sauce and 2 sides. I had the yellowtail in a golden turmeric sauce with Thai Brussel sprouts and crab mashed potatoes, it was so good I'm salivating while writing this review. We also had yellow tail with Asian herb chimichurri and kimchi fried rice and also loved it. My friend a lobster roll connoisseur said it was one of the best she ever had. The jala-piña margarita, guava margarita and caramelized piña colada were so good we all had seconds. Beautiful setting with indoor, outdoor dining and a bar. Can't wait to go back and try some more dishes.

Super busy on a Friday night but suggest making a reservation on open table. Lots of indoor, outdoor and bar seating. We were early so sat at the bar and had a drink before being seated. Dogs are welcome on the patio! The chips were quite tasty but could use some salt. Really great portions but lacking in flavor and taste just a touch. Sushi tacos were great. The salmon was dry and slightly over cooked. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff.

Outstanding experience!
My wife and I met friends for drinks and dinner at the new location of Pacific Catch on the east side of UTC La Jolla. Having experienced the food previously in the San Francisco Bay Area I had high expectations for this location. Expectations exceeded! With any new restaurant opening you expect a couple of bumps but service, presentation, food quality and most importantly taste, was perfect! Check out the full menu on line but here are a couple items you won't see on many other menus.
