What a great restaurant and great people. It was our first time and we ordered the food, they said pay later after you finish. Once we finished, we tried to pay, they “said on us.” Very great owner and great food. Highly recommend it.

One of the best authentic Mexican places! We catered a luncheon at our office and everyone LOVED Ray's. This was our first time ordering from them, and most certainly NOT the last.
The customer service was very quick to reply and offer above and beyond service. The food was delivered hot, so fresh, and was absolutely delicious. Very generous portion sizes for catering, and a catering deal that is simply unbeatable.
Our staff has not stop raving about the food, and Ray's has quickly become an office favorite.
It's hard to pick favorites from our catered menu as everything was 5 star!

"Best Mexican Food in San Diego" the owners said. And we could not agree more.
We are vegetarian and the owners prepared wonderful vegetarian food for us. We ate all vegetarian food items there were on the menu and everything was the best Mexican food we have ever had. We ate quite a bit but did not feel heavy. The food was really tasty.
So happy to have found this hidden gem of a place. Thank you Ray.

I went into Ray's to buy some albodigas soup for a friend if mine who is sick, made to order, the soup was awesome!! Their customer service is so nice and friendly. I highly recommend Ray's , thank you for the nice hospitality ????

Where can I start, I’m not gonna lie the food is okay. But the only problem in that place was the service I got from the old lady with white hair. I had many people telling me they had bad experience with that lady too. Work on your attitude and trust me your place will get better because is always empty there

Came here for a late night California burrito, and it did not disappointed.
This is a good Mexican spot located in North park, near some of the breweries and attractions on the Northern end of the neighborhood.
We ordered a California burrito and it was pretty decent. Came with everything that we expected and was a pretty decent size. For $8.99, it was good value for late Sunday night.
They have some cool artwork around the inside! Go check them out.

Used to eat Rays all the time, moved out of state to alaska, when I return for visit this is my first stop for first meal back. Love the green salsa, wished buckets of it could be shipped to me. Owner super good guy!

You can just taste the love in their food and salsas sooo much flavor! Will be back for a second dose of them carne asada fries. Beats Lolita’s any day! Oh and the owners are so friendly! ???????? (Got 1/2 carne asada fries)
