Overall Rating

I went with the New York Strip steak and my wife had the Shrimp Scampi pasta. We also had a “make your own sushi” app that I forget the name of. All were quite good. We had a couple sculpins and an amaretto sour which were great too! My wallet wasn’t excited, but my belly was full of goodness, so well worth it.

A great first time experience! Interior is absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. Menu is quite large and includes a good variety of cold and hot seafood dishes. Food came out perfectly cooked, at the right temperature, and was extremely fresh. Staff was super friendly and helpful with describing menu items and making recommendations. Highly recommend!

Fun vibe in the gaslamp district.
Great music.
Indoor and outdoor seating.
Friendly service.
Absolutely delicious cheeseburger. Usually we stay away from beef at a fish restaurant but glad our son offered us a bite!!!

Black cod was amaxing. Enjoyed the sea bass. Sadly cauliflower mash was too sugary.

Amazing! So glad we decided to eat dinner here. Oysters were excellent but man-o-man that lobster roll was the best seafood ive ever had. Get the traditional I promise you you’ll enjoy it! Even on our way back home we wouldn’t shut up about how good it was. The waitstaff there was super nice and knowledgeable, they were the ones who recommended it!

Great place for lunch. Very nice how the windows slide up and give you an outside feeling while sitting indoors. We liked the vibes, also for lunch on a weekday.

We came with family of 4: 2 seafood entrées (swordfish & tuna), a roll and a salad. The seafood dishes and roll were really great, both in taste and presentation. Loved it.

One remark though: the salad was a bit underwhelming, especially the presentation (look at food pictures attached): felt like various ingredients of the salad where just piled up, with scampi on top (& there was honestly still a small piece of plastic around one of the scampi in the salad). Contrast with the seafood dishes feels significant. Unsure if this presentation is just not fitted to our European taste or if local diners think the same...

Really lovely place. And great service and food! Absolutely worth the price. Great ambience. We initially got a reservation for 2 by mistake instead of 4. They accommodated our request to change it to 4 and were very nice! Restrooms were clean and well maintained.

The waiter was really helpful and great and made us laugh, shared his story and suggested entrées and dessert all of which were amazing!

Ambience - 9/10
Service - 9/10
Food - 9/10

Will definitely visit again!

Sat at the bar and got great service from the bar staff. We had clam chowder and crab cakes for appetizers, both were outstanding! I had the lobster roll, my wife had the Cioppino, also OUTSTANDING. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting downtown San Diego.

Really nice restaurant, I loved the service. We sat at the bar because they didn’t have available tables, and they suggested to make reservations next time. The food is AMAZING great seafood options. You really need to give it a try. Just have in mind there’s no Valet parking, just public parking around. We parked in the parking in front of the restaurant and it was affordable. David our server was above and beyond with us, ask for him. 100% recommended!!

Upscale oyster bar and seafood restaurant located in the heart of downtown San Diego. The atmosphere is rustic yet bright and airy. In addition to the variety of oysters, they also serve creative dishes including a “sushi nacho” creation that was unique and yummy. This place fills up fast on the weekends, so be sure to get reservations.

One of my all time favorite dining experiences of my life. The outdoor seating at night sets this place above other’s nearby. The food was simple yet elegant. Bar drinks were well served and very tasty.
