Authentic Taiwanese food! Braised pork rice and and intestine vermicelli here are legit! So good! 5 out of 5! Popcorn chicken and oyster omelette were decent, but I do wish the oysters can be more fresh. They are kind of fishy.
The food was delicious and the price was good. I ordered 4 dishes for $33.

I got the oyster pancake and intestine vermicelli. So good that I felt like I was in Taiwan for 20min ????
The pancake is with crown daisy inside, which I prefer over than roman lettuce, and the oyster are fat and fresh. The portions weren't big for the price but so does everything in LA now.
The parking lot in front of the plaza is very small and the parkings are tight so grab it if you see one empty right away!

We were so looking forward to eating here, but was thoroughly disappointed, unfortunately. The positive of this place is for the price you do get a good amount of food. The beef noodle soup had 6 big chunks of beef. That's probably where the positives stop. All the components were there for good dishes, but the execution was sorely lacking. The food had no depth of flavor. Oyster pancakes were heavy on the starch and the sauce sort of blandly sweet. For some inexplicable reason, they dont use lettuce in the pancake and instead used. a green that would used in hot pot. The Duck was cut in a way where each piece had small bone fragments in it. The beef noodle soup had no savory note and all the flavor was derived from the hot oil. I would only recommend if you just a had huge craving of Taiwanese food and you couldnt find another place.

Some of my friends would call this place the BEST TAIWANESE FOOD out there. My wife and I always consider this place whenever we are around the area. There might be some line on the waitlist for the dinner time.

Braised pork on rice is amazing! Here is literally a perfect place for having Taiwanese traditional dishes.

Tight quarters, but cozy Taiwanese food will be sure to draw you in. The restaurant packs your traditional Taiwanese dishes (minced pork and rice, pork belly, various noodle soups) and will boast a healthy line during eating hours.
The portions are a bit in the smaller side, and parking can be limited in the lot (but easy to find in the surrounding neighborhood).

First time came to this busy restaurant. My friends invited me and they know what's good there! The food tastes good, prices are moderate and friendly customer service. The downside is the waiting time is ridiculous and very hard to find parking in there! Suggestion: find parking on the small streets around the area!

My 1st visit here happened on a raining Saturday evening. My food, curiously enough, reflected the weather outside. A bit rushed, a bit soggy overall. Popcorn chicken was damp. Not enough batter. Beef noodle soup is fine. Preserved mustard with pork noodle has a nice shallot oil soup base. Oyster pancake has generous amount of oysters and vegetables but like rest of our food, tasted a little bit rushed. Hoping to revise this average r with a better one on my next visit.
