Pretty good when you're missing some Taiwanese food. It's authentic and taste like home. I wish the cold noodle have more cucumbers than 5-7 thin slices. The bean curd for the Bean curd strips salad (涼拌干絲) could have more bite to the texture. Flavors for the cold noodle and bamboo shoots were really good.

I've been at this place since my school year for almost 20 years and this is still the best Taiwanese noodle place in LA area for the beef noodle soup, zha Jiang mien, and their cold spicy tripes. I live far away now and can't visit as often.

The most capricious noodle shop in Los Angeles, because the business hours are 11:30am-2:00pm ???? The Taiwan-style spicy beef noodles are super delicious, and the exquisite side dishes are also very good.

Very authentic Chinese spicy stewed beef noodle soup. One of the best in the area! Prices have gone up unfortunately from $10 to whooping $16! Still worth it however I'll be spacing out my visits while looking for the next hidden gem.

There's plenty free parking in the back and the street.

So yummy. I had the beef noodle soup. My date had the pork been dry noodle. Both were delicious. I also tried their plum juice. That’s was also a great surprise.

Staff was great and quick with the service. I will be taking my friends to this place.

Food was DELICIOUS!!!!! The owners were very nice and attentive, as if I were visiting an aunt’s house and having her food. This place is recommended by many, including on Ali Wong’s ins post. It was gooooood. I love the beef noodle soup, chicken soup and also the side dishes.

The price is a bit high, but not over-priced for the quality and taste. Loooooove it!!!!

We heard about this place from our son who lives in San Diego. It was kind of odd that we haven’t been to this place even though it’s very close to where we live.

In addition to my son, we heard a lot about this place from our friends as well. So today, we determined to pay it a visit.

Despite its size, the restaurant has an outsize service area coverage with delivery all the way to San Diego. However, their food menu is small. The restaurant provides no book menu but a white board written with 10 items.

Based on what I’ve seen on Yelp, the most popular dish is their beef soup noodle and the Dan Dan noodle. So ordered both of them in addition to dried meat noodle.

The noodles were amazing. They make them just like the ones in Taiwan, al dente but not hard to chew. According to the owner, they have been making these type of special noodles for 32 years.

I highly recommend Dan Dan noodle. The sesame sauce was so good, full of flavor. I also like their marinated dried tofu, very tasty.

The prices are bit high for the small portion of noodle. They are approaching Din Tai Fung’s price point. But their foods are hood and people are keep coming back.

Parking is in the back of the restaurant.

Beef noodle soup was great as always. Didn't like that the sesame noodle didn't come with any meat. Oh well!

Come for the beef noodle soup. The other small plates of marinated foo chuk (bean curd sheets), beef tripe, and pickled green papaya are refreshing cold dishes from their piping hot soups.

This is great comfort food and a great place to grab a quick bite. Seating large parties may be difficult. Also, check their hours of operation as it appears they are only open for about 4.5 hours each day.

This is a noodle joint, that is very trendy amongst Northerners from China. For about $10 smaller size Bowl, you could get playing noodles with a sauce. The sauces are rich and flavorful, some reminded me of a rich peanut sauce or Sesame paste sauce. We did find a hair in two of the dishes. Service is friendly . some dishes served in plastic boxes... So if you're looking for atmosphere, this isn't the place. But noodles are quite good
