This place doesn't even deserve 1star for the cake I received, it was the most unappealing cake I have ever seen and ordered. I traveled to LA for my boyfriend bday and wanted to surprise him with an awesome custom Versace cake but unfortunately, that didn't happen!!!!!!!!!!! I sent my order on 8/4/17 and they said they would take care of it A small circle cake balck and gold w/ the medusa head on top and with gold rope around the rim- no one reached out to me letting me know they were unable to customize the Versace cake I wanted, instead they proceeded to put together a busted looking cake (will upload the black and gold and silver (I never even requested that color on the cake) - it was the worst custom cake I have ever seen. smh. I will give them credit for having the medusa head printed nicely but overall the cake was hideous and looked like they just threw together whatever, smh I was so disappointed when I received my cake because I was so excited to order a cake that had great reviews and even had celebrities eat their cake. The cake taste wasn't bad but it wasn't that great either. Thanks Cake & Art for manipulating me into ordering the cake with the pictures they posted I expected way more from y'all. I will never order a cake again from you guys when I return to Cali. Smh smh I ordered the cake in 2017 and I know I am about a year late, I was busy traveling so I was unable to write a review and 8/4 is coming and the horrible pictures appeared in my memories.

Hands down best cakes in Los Angeles. Hollywood networks, billionaires and kids begging their parents for their cake will confirm it. No pictures because we went to place an order and we inhaled the cupcakes. It goes without saying the staff is amazing. Support this piece of history and eat superbly best money spend.

One of the best bakery experiences ever! We decided to fly in from Michigan and Texas to celebrate my friend's 50th and needed a cake ASAP. The staff was so kind and accommodating they sent emails to connect and confirm all of the details. When I went to do the pickup, I walked in and felt like I had known the staff for years. And the cake was baked Fresh & Delicious. I Highly recommend this bakery for ALL occasions????

They made my son A red Nintendo switch cake! Red is his favorite color & they hooked it up!!! He had an amazing birthday & all of his friends were surprised that A cake like that could be made

My wife surprised me with a birthday cake from cake and art- it was a work of creative and humorous art. A Halloween cake / birthday cake with such attention to detail it looked almost too good to eat- but of course we dove in and it was a tremendously delicious cake- moist , tender and great icing- a cake truly made with love and absolutely delicious!!

This place is ok. I asked for a cake and they tried their best, however for the money I paid I expected more. I gave them a photo of what I wanted and they didn't really succeed my expectation. I'll say that they did say it would be a rush order. However the cake was also a simple design. The person that helped with the pick up was super nice and very helpful. Overall, I wouldn't get a cake designed here again.

Tbh just a ripoff, the cake was 2/3 styrofoam although we agreed on it being 1/2. I payed $400 for a cake that just had printed images thrown onto it. The shoe on the cake had fingerprints on it and tbh looked nothing like the actual sneaker. I was really hoping that the cake would taste better than the cake looked but it didn’t. Had too much frosting and tasted like chemicals. You might be thinking “oh but look at all the celebrities they made cakes for” well they probably didn’t eat them, and they all just had edible prints on them. The chef had no artistic skills, was just able to scribble on it and throw printed images all over it. It just makes me sad because it kind of ruined my birthday party, I am very disappointed in this bakery. So in the end I would only give them a 1/10, they have absolutely nothing to be proud of. So I really don’t recommend getting a cake from here for your kids, because they will probably just be disappointed.

It was such a wonderful experience altogether. I bought a custom cake for my daughter’s birthday.. a pre-designed on their menu list. Cake looked and tasted better than our expectations. I have paid $400 for such cake in past and you guys sold me at less than half of that. Kudos and compliments. You guys are simply the best in LA, and I really mean it.

Beautiful cake! Exactly what I wanted and asked for! Absolutely delicious and moist. Reasonably priced, tasty custom cake worth every penny! Everyone loved it; even those who don't love cake enjoyed every bite! Will definitely be a repeat customer, thank you so much!!!! Was also amazed to spy the cakes for other orders, absolutely incredible artwork!

Super delicious. Super perfect Bakery. From cupcakes to $10,000 custom wedding cakes. They do it all and have done it all for every celebrity in Hollywood. The owner Tom is a gem. If he cannot bake it for you do not need it or you aren't describing it very well.
