Best BBQ around! We order to lunch regularly for work, and love to eat locally.. we have a new favorite. Hands down best flavor and quality! Service was great (To-Go) and the variety of BBQ sauce flavors made it feel like a custom experience. Will definitely be returning again and referring others! Thanks Amanda and crew.. it was delicious!
I like this place, I do. Im not saying its the best bbq in town but a solid choice and will definitely satisfy tour bbq craving. That being said the last two times I’ve ordered a slice brisket sandwich, flavor, seasoning good but its sliced with the grain. Any brisket, particularly from the point creates a stinging bight when sliced with the grain. You can greatly improve the quality of the sandwich by slicing against the grain. It makes a big difference with brisket. I will be back. Love the okra, burnt ends and service is always on point.

Wonderful ambience, great food & wonderful service. We sampled the baked beans, they were good, though a little too sweet for my liking. Chopped brisket was juicy, beefy with just the right amount of fat mixed in. I think it was from the flat, so it wasn't as fatty. Had the fried okra, they were great. Split a corn bread with my sister, moist, crumbly & slightly sweet.
We tried all the BBQ sauces & the hickory is our favorite. . The spicy one was ok, but a tad to sweet. Good lemonade & they make fresh brewed tea.
Will visit here again.

Amazing BBQ and staff! I ordered the brisket sandwich and was asked if I wanted it from the point or the flat (fattier vs less fatty), it came with three amazing sauces- spicy, hickory and sweet, all were great but enjoyed the spicy. You can buy the sauce to go as well. The brisket was superb! I had some of the chicken as well, best smoked chicken ever! Potato salad was great too. Everything is house made other than the fried stuff, including dessert. Love the peach cobbler. Staff was friendly and attentive. They have a few pool tables, a bar, booths and the place was very clean. I will be a return customer for sure!

I have traveled the world sampling the best restaurants. Phat Turtle BBQ is at the top of the list of barbecue joints. That includes the legendary Texas, Kansas City, Tennessee places. It belongs to be listed along side those great places

This is our favorite BBQ in our area! Real KC BBQ! Melt in your mouth brisket! Fall off the bone ribs! Best homemade coleslaw. I don't' even like coleslaw but love theirs! BBQ sauce delicious. The owners are such personable and caring people! Great place to watch a game, have great food and enjoy good company!

New favorite bbq spot! This gem is tucked in a strip mall, but on the inside it's like your in a whole new world. This fun home style country spot is decked out with family style dining tables of all sizes, old school saddles, fun antique memorabilia and an area for live music. The food is great; we had the burnt ends, ribs, brisket, and chopped chicken salad. All of the dishes were fresh and smoked to perfection. The wait staff is super friendly and service oriented. We will definitely be back.

OMG!!!!!! Never thought I would get such AWESOME bbq in AZ. The chili was too die for & we got the platter & meals plus we even took home some of their own bbq sauce. We will definitely be back 1 hr drive or not worth every mile.

Attended with the singles group "Events and Adventures" for Trivia night. Trivia started out slow because the first several sections were all sports questions. And nobody at the 4 tables playing wanted to do sports. Things picked up when you when he rebooted the machine and it was more of a variety from there. The Trivia was a good time, and the food was very good.
Forgot to take pictures, but but we had the half rack of ribs, Mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries. It was all good and well cooked. There were 3 sauce options, and I'm usually a middle of the road heat kind of gal. But even the hottest was a good spice without so much heat.
It was a very clean establishment, friendly and efficient staffing, with a homie environment. This would be a regular place If I stay in the area.
