I had El Milagro tortillas FedEx from Chicago to the East Coast while working in Jersey City. They were that good!
I now live in Chicago and stopped buying them about a month ago. They no longer taste the same. El Milagro lost me as a customer. I find them thinner, watery after being in the fridge and the "cal" taste is no longer there.
I enjoyed eating at this place. The food was very tasty and delicious great place too dine in. When dine inn you pay first for the food after you are asked how many people you came in with and you get an assigned table. It is a small place. As far as drinks only cans coke products or flavored Mexican water drinks. For me i chose this tacos and BOY THEY ARE HUGE ! I ordered 4 only ate 2! But soo delicious! ???? I'm not picky eater i just said load up as is advertised OMG AMAZING! ???????? You can get thing aside if you like. Never had tacos like this and were delicious!

In my opinion, the best tacos in all of Chicago. You can’t go wrong with a carne asada taco and a pollo asado taco. The cabbage mix they add just works! I can’t explain it. You gotta try it.

Possibly the best tacos I’ve ever had. The pork with green sauce was on a different level. They’re pretty large so I’d suggest only getting two

5 stars easy. Best tacos in Chicago. You only need 2, maybe 3 if you're hungry hungry. Rice, beans, and slaw all come on it. You need the fork. Pork with green sauce is outstanding. Real steak pieces not the chopped up little stuff. Same with the chicken. All seasoned very well.

The widely accepted home to the best tacos in Chicago. The tacos are bigger than you would expect so only order 1 or 2. Fresh baked tortilla will make you never want to eat tacos anywhere else. Friendly helpful staff and fair prices. A true Chicago gem

Great food. The tamales are great. I luv the pineapple n pecan desert tamales. I like the lunch counter order setup.great Mexican food.. the tacos, tortas, and burritos lend themselves to fine car dining. The Best tasting Napalitans ever!
Jan 2022 I got the Puerto n salsa verde dinner plate. The flavors r off the the charts. I was dissapointed to see 1/2 of the cubicles taken down. We opted for a cubicle. They started doing the proof of vaccination to enter- I was glad this is place. I felt more comfortable. March 2022- puerco en salsa verde- delicious. I appreciate the cleaning up they do.after each table is vacated

Ok after a long search for a burrito now it’s over. I been coming to milagro literally as a baby with my mom. I have always tried everything else but the burrito. The burrito is exceptional as in quantity of meat and quality of the extras. Please ppl try out the Milagro’s steak burrito next time you come here at 7.25 I am sure no one can beat that especially with all other places giving no meat at all.

It was packed in here on Saturday afternoon so i took that as a sign that the food is good. Cafeteria style. Quick, friendly service, fresh food, big portions & reasonable prices. During covid, they had a temperature checker at the front and tall plexiglass booths where you can eat. I got the huevos en salsa w rice & beans on it, guisado de res & puerco en salsa verde all on flour tortillas. Also got the flauta, pork & chicken tamales. Metered parking. Would definitely return.
