I wish I had sorted the reviews by Newest prior to coming here. I've always loved this place, since they were located on Diversey. While in the neighborhood, we stopped in to grab 4 tacos to go. The place was empty. Granted, it's been a while, but this place used to have a long line on the weekends. My lucky day. Guess I'm getting my food promptly? Guess again. Despite being the only customers, we still had to wait nearly 30 minutes for 4 tacos--even with the place fully staffed. I let it slide, as I understand things can happen, take out orders might also have to be prepared, etc. I also noticed the prices seemed a bit high, as it came out to over $20 just for 4 tacos (no rice or beans). I let that slide as well, as I understand that costs are rising, there's inflation, etc. Plus I don't mind paying a premium for good quality food. However, when we got home and opened the bag, I thought they might've forgotten an item or 2. Nope. These tacos are just extremely tiny. They are literally smaller than the palm of my hand. To add insult to injury, the meat was dry on all 4 of the options we had. Not sure if they were running low, but the tacos barely had any onions & cilantro on them either. The green salsa also tasted a bit off, kind of sweet like watermelon. Regardless of price, this place is certainly losing it's touch. It's sad to see, as I remember bringing friends here from out of town to try what I, at one point, considered to be the best tacos in Chicago. Unfortunately I think that will be the last time I visit here. I just want to share my experience, and I in no way mean any disrespect to the business, so I hope the owner doesn't give another sassy response where one is not needed (Yikes! ????).
The ribeye burrito was out of this world fantastic. Chicken taco's were tremendous . Rice and beans were on fire. Truly a fiesta for the taste buds. I highly recommend this place to and for everyone.

The tacos are good but they are crazy if they think people will pay $5 a taco!! I’ve been a fan since they used to be on diversity and recall their tacos used to be $2.50. I was here a month ago and was somewhat disappointed that the price was around $4. I walked in today and saw that they jacked up the price again and walked out immediately. This place is out of touch with their clientele.

for starters extremely pricey plus they charge for everything. lettuce tomate etc, i paid however because the steak here looked amazing so i said maybe its worth it , that it was ????super good food but very cheap on toppings i asked for cilantro only n i barely saw any at all close to none. also tacos so tiny , so be-sure to order extra tacos if you want to get full , great food but come with ur wallet full for satisfaction plus long carry out wait time 25 min wait for 2 steak tacos

Overrated Mexican food. Don't waste your time or money. Worst customer service in the logan square/ Hermosa area. If you want great tacos and service get to Jimenez up the street before they close. The owner talks so tough instead of improving the quality of there establishment. Poor thing

My new “go-to place” for Mexican food. I liked the place as soon as I walked in, it had a good overall feel. I decided on the steak burrito with the works and a large horchata. You place your order at the front counter and “pay in cash”. The lady will give you a receipt and ask your name and call you when your order is ready for pickup.
I’m usually hesitant about ordering steak burritos because of the fat and gristle but not this place,it was tender and full of flavor. The horchata was very good, one of the best ever, just the right amount of sweetness. A nice touch is they seal the top of your cup with a plastic film, you just poke your straw in the middle. I will definitely go back and try the tacos next time.

Horrible! Disappointed! Order came out to $50 and the steak quesadilla had literally NO MEAT. The tacos I specifically ordered with cheese had super little to NO cheese. The $4 taco of shrimp had 3 little shrimps with huge pieces of onion. This place is OVERPRICED and they literally put NO EFFORT into their food. The meat taste over cooked and salty. I regret purchasing from here and spending so much money. I will NEVER order from here again. Don’t waist your money people! There are literally other restaurants in the area that are really good with reasonable prices.
