Lunch was absolutely amazing today, this place exceeded my expectations...the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The ???? burrito absolutely delish and the tortilla soup ???? blew me away best I've tasted thus far...and for me presentation is everything and as you can see they hit the mark. The surf and turf burrito is my favorite! Al pastor tacos also are a hit. Everything though is very solid. Great go-to - very happy they are in the neighborhood!

Wow, my new go-to for Mexican! The fiesta bowl was amazing. Unique chipotle tartar sauce is off the charts! Guac was so fresh. Family member was very stoked about his enchiladas as well. And super fast Sunday night delivery!

Amazing place. So clean. So friendly. So much space. Good music. There’s so much love in the details with the food here. I love it. A strong sturdy burrito that’s sliced perfectly. It’s not dripping in oil. It was amazing with Oaxaca cheese. Steak asada had nice texture and a good char mark on it. Salsa verde was soo fresh and the lime salt on the tortilla chips was amazing. I can’t wait to try everything else out. It was so good I was like I’m 100% coming back next week with a big group of friends. I wish this place would’ve been around when I use to live down the block. I’m happy it’s Mexican since that neighborhood use to have Mexican grocery stores and taquerias. ????

Honestly do not know why this chain is rated so high when there's plenty of better places nearby... The enchiladas were the soggiest I've ever had. I would stick with the quesadillas if you decide to order from here.

I always order my tacos, burritos and burrito bowls from here and they always deliver it smoothly, efficiently and fresh! Their chipotle chicken burrito is delicious and the surf and turf bowl always perfect! The sides a and tortilla soup are also very good! I totally recommend this place for its freshness and deliciousness and will continue ordering from here for sure!

We are here now 3/12/22 with a large party celebrating our nephews 1st birthday! Great location off the expressway. Our seating area was closed off, private and very intimate. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The music is also perfect. Not too loud or too low. We can have a conversation and hear each other. We love it.
I ordered a steak burrito dinner (pictured) and our waiter is Mike! He is great and very attentive to our wants and needs.
The steak burrito was cooked to perfection and very filling. Usually I eat the whole thing in seconds but this is a great filling portion.
Definitely more than 5 stars!!

I’ve never done a review since I thought they’re pointless, but I just had to leave one to this restaurant since they are new to the neighborhood. This has to be the best tacos in Chicago. All fresh and juicy, meat was so tender, the salsa was delicious. Everything was at quality! All of the menu options are amazing that I’m definitely coming back soon to try some more. Mixteco you have a client for life!

Awesome Mexican food near me in noble square/wicker park. We love their steak tacos, salsa is on point, and delivery/pick is fast and convenient. If you haven't ordered out from Mixteco when looking for a great Mexican food place in Chicago, I highly recommend doing so ASAP, you won't be disappointed. From their burritos to their guacamole, this is a solid authentic Mexican restaurant addition to the bucktown, Wicker Park, and Noble Square neighborhood. It's also great to support a local business in the neighborhood so hop on their website and order takeout Chicago Mexican food today.
