The tamales are great! Pork salsa roja, rajas y queso. The pinapple n pecans tamales were fantastic! A week latet, I tried the shrimp tamales. Vgood. Feb 2021- Tacos, tortas, burritos they r all awesome. Tried the pork in green sauce. Yummy.
June 2021 first sit down meal in cubicles.
I like the privacy.
The napalitos from the tortilla store next door absolutely , barr none. are the best I have eaten. Jul 2022 got my favorite plate #4

Some of the best tacos I have ever had. Their pork tacos are delicious, fairly priced and always have the same flavors. I love their mole and tamales are also amazing!

got a little excited before taking a picture! but as a local who’s been ordering from here for years, i 100% recommend it! i got the guizo de rez platillo/beef stew plate. came with a cup of their amazing, spicy salsa. rice and beans are delicious and compliment the food v well. :)

The food is absolutely incredible!! The prices are incredible and the people that work there are super nice! This authentic Mexican restaurant has been an iconic place for at least 50 years! Great environment, I highly recommend it.

Great fresh fast meal. The plate comes with your choice of meat. Grilled chicken and grilled steak right off the grill. You can also choose any of the other things that are ready. Then it comes with rice, beans, lettuce, and 6 tortilla's of your choice all for under $10.00. Beat that.

Simply one of the greats. Just quality ingredients, and a ton of flavor. Steak tacos some of the best I've had, and certainly for the price range. A treasure, you miss this place, and the tortillas when you leave Chicago

I love this place!!! Tacos are so fulfilling and delicious! Service always great. My favorite is Carne Asada tacos and milanesa de pollo taco. Tamales are also good!!

Love that they have eating pods! The food is so delicious. They even had a security guard at the door to regulate the amount of people in the restaurant at one time

Cafeteria style set up with absolutely delicious food. On Sundays they have incredible chicken mole and the tortillas are unbeatable. Definitely worth a stop for a cheap bite.

This place is set up like cafeteria style, you stand in line until you get your turn to place your order. At the time that you place your order of your favorite Mexican food, you have the option to take it to go or eat in, the cashier will assign an available table to your party. They have some of the best and biggest steak tacos in the industry. They also sell Mexican Guisados "Stews," tamales, tortas, chiles rellenos, flautas, carne asada, chilaquiles and many more wonderful Mexican dishes at very reasonable prices. You can also buy freshly made flower and corn tortillas here.
