Food is amazing!! The atmosphere is top notch and the staff is incredible Ashley took well care of us!! so Yummy!! They sous vide all of the steaks so therefore your steak is cooked perfectly best steak in Houston!!!

My gosh, this was one of the best dinners I've ever had in my entire life! The food is on an entirely different level and the flavors are absolutely spectacular. I had never been to such a high-end restaurant before, but decided to splurge and it was 1000% worth it. It is an experience in and of itself.
The drink menu is superb and their cocktails are excellent. They have a full bar, so they can always throw together whatever your heart desires.
Their appetizers are extremely succulent and much more filling than you might expect. Even the bread is out of this world!
The steaks and cuts they have are just to die for. They're flavorful, rich, and filling and are topped with some of the most interesting ingredients, but it really does blend very well.
The staff is fantastic as well. Our waiter, Doug, was very, very helpful and friendly. He provided some great recommendations, described the various dishes in great details, and will certainly help you navigate the menu. One of the managers, Tommy, was very kind and receptive to the compliments and questions we had. On top of that, other staffmembers regularly came by to check on us or offer to take our plates. We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in to the moment we left.
Overall, this restaurant is one of a kind and if you're able to make it happen, I promise you that it will be one of the tastiest nights of your life!!

Amazing food and service. Steak house with a Mediterranean flair! I would highly recommend. The prices are in range for a high end steakhouse and definitely worth it for a great meal.

I visited this lovely restaurant a few months ago for the first time and I was very much impressed.
This is a very popular place and reservations are a must. In fact, during a week day, we could only get a spot at the bar. No problem, the bartender is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting at the bar watching the action.
The food was delicious. Expertly prepared and beautifully presented.
A must visit.

The steaks were amazing. I also had the house cabaret which went very well with the tenderloin. The tuna tartar was also very good. We had a great anniversary dinner!

Great open air restaurant with a delicious menu. Everything is incredibly well executed, from the scratch baked breads to the dry aged steaks. It is a bit on the pricey side for the food, but the quality of service showcases why you pay the premium. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell the attention to detail they take with this place.

A wonderful change of pace! If you're looking for incredible steak, don't shy away from Doris because of its Israeli flair - that's what makes it so special. You can find great steak easily, but the bread, the presentation, the charming staff, and the overall vibe here is hard to find elsewhere (and my god the octopus!).
Do yourself a favor and take a chance on Doris Metropolitan, you won't regret it.

Shocked by any negative review, honestly the hottest and best spot in Houston! The food, drinks, & service are beyond impeccable. Food is consistently delicious. It’s such an exclusive experience. Don’t hesitate, book the table!

The experience is beyond exceptional, and the attention to detail with every dish is incredible. Gigi, our waitress was more than attentive, but knowledgeable of every menu item. The Israel Sour was a repeat ... along with the bread!

Food was pretty good the environment was not ideal dinner environment due to the overcrowded and the space feel very tight. The oysters were great. The roots puree was the best I’ve had. Octopus great flavor. Now the steak ???? was served with the seasoning on the side as it seems because when added to the too of the steak it was great. Over all I’d recommend it for the experience however I don’t believe it’s place for frequent visit.
