Excellent service and food! Our waitress Patricia knew the menu very well and had great recommendations. We tried the porterhouse and rib eye steaks, and they were grilled to perfection. Since we were celebrating my birthday, we also got a free desert which was very tasty. I would highly recommend this place!

We came here for HRW. The turtle gumbo soup was good but didn’t wow me. The filet mignon, mashed potatoes and green beans however were amazing! The filet was so tender and juicy. The mashed potatoes were garlicky and perfectly seasoned. The green beans were perfectly tender and flavorful. The cheesecake was large and delicious as well. The service was impeccable. Fine dining at its best.

Great steakhouse with top notch service. Well prepared food that you’d normally expect from a steakhouse with great service from the waitstaff and all other supporting staff. There are multiple different sized rooms with slightly different dining ambiance or to accommodate larger sized parties. Parking options include $10 valet, street parking, or nearby structures much like other downtown restaurants.

Pappas Bros Steakhouse delivers an upscale and delicious dining experience. I wanted steak for my last dinner while visiting in Houston and was recommended to try Pappas Bros Steakhouse. I enjoyed both the meal and service.

If you want to feel like a queen/ king, don’t walk, don’t run, TELEPORT to this restaurant!!! ???? ????????????I have never in my life been treated with such amazing care. Isaac was our waiter and he was phenomenal. He was highly knowledgeable and personable. He made me and my friends feel welcomed and he was highly attentive. If you want a 10/10 experience ask for isaac!! Phillip the manager was incredible as well! Do I even need to speak about the food? DELICIOUS. Turtle gumbo sounds weird but hear me out it’s the best gumbo I’ve had (rip the turtles ???????????? ✊????). Fliet minion was the most tender piece of meat I’ve ever had and key lime pie was bussin????????. Cheesecake is also an honorable mention, it was insane. We came here for Houston restaurant week and I’m so happy that we did. I will forever remember my amazing experience at papas bros????♥️

Staff (especially our waiter- Ashley) was amazing! Everything was delicious! I can’t drink alcohol but the list was phenomenal and the after drinks are amazing as well! Lobster deviled eggs, half dozen oysters, bread, off menu Brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, off menu tomahawk steak, fresh lemonade, Arnold Parmer, this Carmel Oreo crust dessert with ice cream. Everything was phenomenal and we have enough food to last us a week. Portions are huge! They also cut the steak table side. I loved how the dress code was more lax then other high end steak places! Still dress nice but no formal wear required!

24oz ribeye on the bone was cooked nicely but a bit too much salt for my liking. Large portions and great service. Entree of scallops wrapped in bacon probably my fav. Pecan pie and ice cream for dessert topped off an overly indulgent evening.

I celebrated my wedding there. Me and my husband couldn’t asked for a better place to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is impeccable, since the moment you enter everyone is amazing. The food is other level. Thank you very much for such an amazing attention.

I am giving Pappas Steakhouse a five mainly for service. You certainly my feel like they are taking care of you at this restaurant. The steak is pretty good too. Mine went down like butter. Add a few nice cocktails and this can make for a very nice meal.

Second time going, but tried out the downtown location this time, because I was not impressed with the other location off Westheimer. Loved the ambiance of the downtown location. The appetizers I had were good, Crab Cakes and Lobster deviled Eggs, so great and Cesar Salad was good, but not really impressed with my salmon entree it was very bland and the steak was just ok again. Drinks were very good. Customer service was amazing! If I go back it will be only to sit at the bar and have drinks and Appetizers. They let me down on the entrees once again. Everyone knows I'm a steak head and people recommend Pappas all the time, but I just haven't had a steak from their that just melted in my mouth. Follow me @howto713_ for more!
