I used to grab lunch here all the time before the name change. My go-to entrées were the Garlic Eggplant Chicken and the Salt & Pepper Chicken. They were hard to find elsewhere and perfectly prepared at Chinese 65.
Today was my first time back in a year or two and I was shocked that the dining room wasn't packed at noon like before. That should have been my first sign to turn around. I ordered my usual and they only had the bottom of the pan bits left. She plated the dry looking Eggplant Chicken and said I could wait for more Salt & Pepper Chicken if I wanted since I turned down the other available items on the line. Everything looked dry and old. A couple minutes later the lady at the register walked over with my food after paying $13.
I'm really disappointed by what I found in the container when I reached my desk. The portions are much smaller, which I'm fine with. The cost has gone up since I've been here last and clearly the quality doesn't match the price. I won't be back. I'll let the photo speak for me. I also have video of me throwing the entire container in the trash.
I ordered a medium Mongolian beef with a side entree of orange chicken on white rice. I also tried the egg roll and crab rangoon. It came to just under $16. Nice portion sizes. Felt very full probably could have gotten a smaller order and still been full but wanted to try a couple things as my first time. The orange chicken had a nice kick to it. Mongolian beef was okay. The sauce was a bit runnier than I would like. It tastes fine but I preferred the orange chicken. Both the egg roll and crab rangoon had a lot of filling and great flavor. I added spicy mustard to the egg roll because that's my favorite. For downtown location it's reasonably priced, good portions, and great flavor. I recommend if in the area

Definitely not as good as they once were. I've been eating lunch here since my first job out of college. This was only my second time since being back in the office and I won't be back. The prices are high and the portions are small. The food wasn't even good unfortunately. No wonder it was empty at lunch time.

Good food and good prices but not a nice place to eat-in. There are like a hundred chairs in a rather small room.

Really friendly and helpful service and my food was good, but my girlfriend had broken eggshells in her fried rice.

The average 3 stars Chinese place. Fried rice was not impressive but the "Medium" portion was huge. Crab ragoons are disappointing because of too much dough and just a tiny bit of filling.

An fast food restaurant… truly fast food. I was in and out within 15 minutes. If you are really hungry and can’t wait in-line. This is the place. Average quality of food.

Inexpensive, typical Chinese takeout with mostly American -Chinese items. But for me this place is special because although they have no vegetarian entrees listed, they made a dish I requested. For being accommodating, extra star.
This is going to be my go-to place for eating before my Opera from now on.

Awesome. Burned my tongue I was so eager to dig in. Such authentic flavoring. The pork bbq fried rice was amazing. Huge portion, I got like three meals out of that bad boy. Still recovering from COVID and limited winter hours is apparent, I hope they make it, the food was awesome.
