Caramel macchiato was the best I’ve ever had, and I’m a coffee drinker!! Wait was a little longer than I would’ve liked, but staff said they were short today, and since the food was freshly made to order I understood. Great ambience, and very chill! Looked like the people there were repeat visitors based on how the staff interacted with them, but staff was friendly, and helpful to all.
My vanilla latte…. Best I’ve ever had!
My breakfast sandwich…. Amazing!
This place has great staff that are polite and engaging. The food and beverages are the best! I can’t wait to come back to try their lunch items! Highly recommended for that chill morning or afternoon bite.

On a whim I walked over to Afro Joe's this morning; best whim of my week. Admittedly, sometimes my excitement gets the best of me. I may or may not have (hint... I did...) bought a breakfast sandwich, a coffee drink, and a cinnamon roll despite having a tiny appetite in the mornings. Luckily I choose to live my life without regrets! ???? So, I've downed my Iced Caramel Macchiato with Salted Caramel, as suggested by the bubbly barista. After my first sip I think my eyes bugged out of my face. As I rushed back over to the counter to tell her, "oh my God, the salted caramel" she said, "see! I won't steer you wrong!" and I believe her. In fact, my coffee life is now completely in her hands and I can't wait to stop back in and order whatever she suggests. On to the sandwich. You guys, that mayo. So simple an addition to a breakfast sandwich and so perfect. But also, the brioche bun. But also the gooey cheese pouring out the sides and perfectly cooked eggs. So, I think it's safe to say that stopping halfway through as my stomach dost protest took almost more willpower than I could muster (and only proved possible due to my enlightened state after sipping Salted Caramel coffee on my walk home). And then comes the cinnamon roll. You guys. I only took one bite because I'm now fully caffeinated and a little high on (Salted Carmel) sugar. Finishing the roll will be the highlight of my afternoon. Sweet, soft and simultaneously chewy, heavy enough on the cinnamon... delicious. And all of that is to say nothing of the warm and welcoming baristas, cooks, and aesthetic! There's a "Barking Lot" to drop off your pups on your way in so as not to disturb other patrons but allow you to walk over with your furry friend (I'll bring at least one pupper with next time)! There's city-centric and empowering art for sale on the walls. I was also told there's live music every Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm. I'll be sure to pop back over for it one of these days, sooner rather than later... I'll be back! Thank you, Afro Joe's, for brightening my morning!

I live south east and have traveled to Beverly at least 6 times since they have opened for their caramel macchiato. Last time I decided to get the BLT with cheese added and it was amazing. The only thing needed is a greenery wall so I can take pictures sipping on my delicious coffee ????

I've been WAITING for a place like this for 20 years to show up in the Beverly area. There other "coffee shops" that aren't as welcoming and the lattes aren't as good, and I had to travel a long way to get something good. Then this amazing placed showed up! The hazelnut latte is amazing.... the sandwiches, the best in the area. They have a live band on Saturdays. I am very pleased to have them in the neighborhood!! Will be a regular!

Really love the vibe here. I stopped in for the first time and picked up drinks that were perfect. Beautifully decorated and very friendly staff.
I didn’t pick up food but the menu had nice options. Definitely a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!
Part 2..I did go back last Saturday and picked up the best avocado toast I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The lavender strawberry lemonade was AMAZING ???? I am in love with Afro Joes!

The thing I’ve always loved about Afro Joe’s is the vibe and I’m glad that vibe came with them to Beverly. The space is amazing, the people are genuinely welcoming, and the drinks and food are delicious. Definitely a cool space to come hang out and fellowship, and I guarantee you’ll meet someone new!
I always get the grilled cheese and a cold drink, but the breakfast sandwich is good and the chai is tasty too. I’m not a coffee drinker, but people seem to dig that too!

Afro Joes is amazing! We have needed a place like this in Beverly for a long time. For me it’s filling the void that was left when Ellie’s closed, but the location and space is even nicer, with the large outdoor patio and bright windows. Almost feels like the north side.
Coffee is good too! And the food is to match. We are so happy you chose this location to reopen.

I purchased a large coffee with a bacon & egg sandwich. The bacon was really thick and the bun was very soft. Yum yum. The coffee was very balanced. I will visit again for more items on the menu. The staff was very friendly.
Update: I tried the beef short rib grilled cheese. Scrumptious . Don't let the topping scare you. The pickled onions was a bonus to the flavors.

I came on a Saturday afternoon. Live music. Bright and comfortable space. Hellos being exchanged. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese and a Carmel apple cider. The sandwich was good. Perfectly crisp and buttery bread. Filled with moist & tender short rib. That’s a hit. The cider taste exactly like a Apple fritter glazed donut. Too sweet for me but still spot on. The customer service was good. Smiles and laughter fill the room. I was happy to support this local business today & I look forward to returning for some of their open mic events or more live music.

I am so happy I stumbled across this incredible establishment! I needed to have a change of scenery to get some writing done, and have a bite to eat and decided to stop by.
It was an entire vibe! The staff were incredibly friendly, the menu had healthy/filling options, and the ambiance was nice!
I enjoyed the Out West Wrap and a cup of tea and it was soooo…good! Not to mention, I love the names of the food items ????
I think I’ve found my new go-to coffee shop!

Dope spot with good vibes! Owners and staff are very professional and provide good service. Love the art displayed and having good food and teas/coffee is the cherry on top! Try the immunity boost chai. The only negative is that the landlord is making them remove their patio, lame. That’s cool, Afro Joe’s going to the top!

Absolutely DELICIOUS.... This is not your typical coffee house! I went here with two of my siblings and we were all blown away by their sandwiches! The coffee and tea drinks are amazing... Every single staff member greeted me with a smile. The venue has an open loft concept with a rustic sheik appeal. They have live music on Saturday mornings and other events throughout the month! I’ll be back!!!

This place is awesome! I love the decor, the only way I can describe it is "breezy "
It is a jewel on the Southside of Chicago and the menu was just as great.
I had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese sandwich and lavender lemonade and it was so good. The menu is so eclectic that I couldn't decide so I have to return and they have a secure outdoor space too. The service was very friendly ????
