Really some of the best pizza I've had. The tomato sauce had a great fresh flavor, the toppings were super, service was exceptional and the overall experience amazing.
This place is a hidden gem; great location on south Michigan Ave. The food is always hot and fresh and their pizza is one of the most unique thin crusts I’ve ever tasted. Their cheese combo is absolutely outstanding. Service was great and this place usually isn’t too busy. I highly recommend!

The pizza we had was thin crust. Super six with out peppers add tomatoes. If u like lots of sauce then u will like the pies.

I had a very enjoyable experience. I felt very comfortable. My server was great and the food was good...I had beef ravioli. The bar has Angry hard cider, one of my favorites!

I came to Chicago open minded and wanting to try their famous deep dish pizza.
I first tried Giordano's stuffed pizza. I was in for a surprise. they use pie dough instead of real pizza dough. A real disappointment. I had to try another place...
So I searched for the original place, where it all started: Uno! So instead of a stuffed pizza, they serve real deep dish pizza. Better overall, better toppings, but... Still that pie dough! I will never get why Chicagoans use pie dough instead of real pizza dough.
I still had to try some other pizza. The thin crust Chicagoans love, so I went to Aurelio's.
Ok, better. Service was great, even on a busy night.
Thin crust pizza is served on a metal grill so the crust stays crispy, a nice touch. But... it's still that weird pie dough.
Conclusion : Chicago pizza, wether it's stuffed, deep dish or thin crust, has nothing to do with real Italian pizza, but you still have to try it. Many loves it, it's just not for me.

It was such a great experience! My boyfriend and I went there in June while we were visiting Chicago. Our servers name was Donna if I remember correctly but she was so amazing and so welcoming. She made the experience that much better. The pizza was way beyond our expectations and I wish we lived close because I’d get it every day haha. But yeah I definitely highly recommend it and if you get Donna as your server you’re going to love it! She’s such an angel:)

Fantastic pizza. Really the best sauce and tavern style pizza. Was overcharged on my latest visit, but when I called back to ask about it, the manager said they would remove those charges. Much appreciated!

Came here for dinner and only waited about 15 minutes on Memorial Day weekend. We got the toasted ravioli and BBQ boneless wings for the appetizers. The ravioli was very good and the boneless wings had plenty of sauce. The ranch was very good too.
I got a Red Line beverage as well. It was phenomenal.
Pizza was really good! Got the pepperoni and sausage stuffed crust. Had plenty of flavor and meat. Lots of cheese. A lot of the cheese did end up underneath the pizza while on the sheet but it was still good.

The pizza is very delicious and freshly made. The ingredients are incredible and the sauce is fantastic! I only give it four stars because trying to find parking is terrible! Of course they are located on the south end of downtown so I’m not surprised there’s never parking but they should’ve added a small parking lot for visitors

It was just me when I went in and I sat at the bar. The bartender was fantastic. Very enthusiastic and seemed very happy. I enjoyed the energy. I asked for additional restaurant recommendations while in town. Very friendly and super cool. They gave me suggestions for other great places to get some food while I’m here in Chicago. The pizza was fantastic. I had what the bartender recommended. Definitely would go back to his place.

Not my #1 favorite deep dish Chicago pie, but a solid contender. Their sauce is a bit sweet, but it works really well with their cheese, crust and other toppings to make a pizza that is pretty addictive! Plus, it bakes slightly faster and is slightly less "deep" than other restaurants making it possible to have an extra slice before boxing it up! My wife and I shared a small and still took two pieces home!

Absolutely amazing. Our best experience in Chicago so far. Service was amazing and every employee was so nice. Pizza was some of the best we have ever had. It’s true that thin crust is the true Chicago style pizza. Will be stopping here anytime we visit Chicago.

Outstanding pizza! Definitely worth the drive out there! Even tastes amazing next day! The sauce is great, good amount of topings throughout the pizza (we got a "deep dish") their pasta is great too! Loved the environment and worker's! Thought we'd try this place out since it was my grandfather's name, again worth the drive! (All the way from Cleveland (not that far but far) this was our second time!

My family and I were visiting Chicago and we decided to stop and try Aurelio's Pizza. It was one of the best decisions we made for dinner. We had their signature sandwich, THE ORIGINAL! AURELIO’S ITALIAN SUBMARINE along with their dinner salad and BOTH were AMAZING! The sandwich was packed full of meat and their salad was fresh and crisp. Not only was their food amazing, but our 2 servers were AWESOME! They both were very attentive and made sure our glasses were always full. Thank you for making our experience a great one!
