So delicious anybody giving anything less than a 5 ⭐️ is lying so so so delicious had been on the barbecue hunt even went all the way out south to won’t say but far and Bens is so much better been to about 5 in a week searching lerking and looking for a good place and I had forgot all about this place haven’t had some since I had my son and forgot being so sick but I’m back this will be MY permanent place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is super busy. I guess due to shortage of workers the wait time is longer but the bbq was good and I loved the way it was packaged. I hadn't been there in 3 years, I moved to Florida 1st time home. Will have to go back to try the turkey tips.

Food too expensive. When it was Joe's you got larger portions at a cheaper price. They don't have any drinks. Except for a pop machine. Service is slow.

Flavor was there but the tips were tough. I couldn't chew some of them. For the price I paid for them they could've been better.

Made a phone order and received the best customer service. The cashier was very pleasant on the phone and in person. GREAT Mild sauce. Full of flavor. Chicken Tips were perfectly seasoned. Fries were good. Only con was I had to return my receipt to get my food, so now I have no record I purchased with my credit card. Overall, I highly recommend visiting.

Today we order chicken wings taste like garlic. Catfish Fillets tasted fishes and the batter falling off. The Fries was dark and tasted old. SMH..

The rib tips are delicious! Small is good for one person, XL is big enough for 2, price is ok...not a bargain, but good location (though can be tricky to park). I asked for light sauce...does the picture look like it?

I’m a Southside Woman and usually only eat ribs from my end of town, however, a conference I was attending on the Westside of town let out late so I looked for Barbecue (on Google of course) and made my way to Ben’s Bar-Be-Cue. I got there 30 minutes before closing, normally people are in a bad mood or serve the days remaining food with attitude, so I was surprised when I was greeted and offered a taste test by none other than Mr. Ben himself! I love the pride in ownership and confidence in his product as he told me about his barbecue.
Now about his ribs... I still eat pork, but was surprised to learn that he offers chicken and turkey tips for a real diverse offering of grilled meats. He gave me a sample of each with the regular sauce and I was IMPRESSED with the tenderness of the meat and the flavor of the sauce. It took me right back to some of my favorite southside locations.
The smoke on the meat popped threw the flavor and made me want to slap my own mama it was so good. I decided to get “Ben’s Combo” which had a three meat sampling: pork rib tips, sausage link, fried chicken with sauce and fries with the Spicy Sauce instead of plain and a slice of caramel cake ????I made the right choice!
One of the first things I noted about my meal was the packaging. I’m used to getting barbecue in a foam container that often pops open and leaves my food rubbing against a plastic bag. Take a look at the photo, the good was served in a plastic container with a secure lid, so no pop opens or drop out food and the portion size was generous!!!
The food was hot, fresh, flavorful and by the time I was finished, I had to roll myself away from the table!!! This was excellent barbecue and I recommend it to everyone, but especially Southsiders driving through ????????????
As I close this, I’m still thinking about the sauce, it was so good, I want to lick my fingers for effect ???????????? ???? (Note: if you read all this, give the review a like)
