Got the Brisket Burnt Ends platter and it really does come with a lot of meat. I thought it was pretty good, including the pickles & coleslaw. I also got a side of the 3 Cheese Mac, but it lacked a bit of flavor. Staff was nice and made my order quickly. Will come back.
Delicious food! Will definitely visit there again!

OMG. BWBBQ catered an event for me yesterday for 60ppl in my office. One of our partners told me that it was the best lunch they ever had in our office. They have always rocked! Do yourself a favor and get lunch. Unreal. Jessica is the best!!!

Wait in line 20 mins, got to the front, they're out of chicken. They probably should've had a sign or made an announcement. Food smelled good.

Ordered the pulled pork platter. It was cold and tasteless. Very greasy.

Friendly staff and delicious food. A place to grab a budget friendly and appetite tantalizing BBQ meal. Would recommend to all.

Dont let the small serving space fool you....this place ROCKS! the smell is inviting from the moment you open the door. The problem is in choosing what to eat. Devell hooked me up with samples, and my taste buds went crazy. I dont think you can make a wrong choice, but we settled on the brisket and burnt ends. OUTSTANDING! My wife raved about the mac and cheese as well as the pickles. The price can't be beat either. Make this a MUST stop to eat!

Pretty cool BBQ place! The best thing I ordered was the platter of brisket. It was very delicious and tender. It had a lot of flavor and did not need any sauce whatsoever. Staff was friendly, too!

After an exhaustive search for the closest thing I could find to Texas BBQ, Blackwood now has my heart. The rich smokiness and flavor profile is why I keep coming back. Not only is the brisket tender and "Slap Ya Mama" delicious, the pull pork and chicken are also absolutely fantastic! In my recommendation the 1/2 platter of Burnt Edges (And Half sliced moist brisket) is the true winner. Today was the first time I tried the cold Elote Salad, and Mmmm Mmm Mmm! Such a great idea on a chicago street favorite. Additionally, if your are a sauce fan they have a large selection of fancy sauces from sweet and tangy to spicy and sweet (my favorite is the Kansas). Lastly, make sure to grab a drink. The in house made Sweet tea and Lemonade make for the most perfect Arnold Palmer to compliment the amazing BBQ experience.

Brisket sandwich was fine, nothing really stood out. The side of beans had more meat than beans. I get that it's a BBQ place but if you already have a sandwich or platter it's a little over the top.

It's just not for my taste buds. I need a lot of seasoning and flavors and this missed it. I ordered a pulled chicken salad and the chicken was not the best cooked. Maybe I should have tried the pork but as I tried, 3 Stars for the the chicken dish!

Very friendly service. Got a taster to help decide what to go for. Ended up with a mixed meat platter. Delicious slow cooked smoked meets! Highly recommend a visit!

Canadian speaking here: "the portion sizes are huge!" But thankfully they are; the BBQ is on point. Amongst the best pulled pork sandwiches I've had.
If you're after a salad - this is still a good place for you. Excellent taste and fresh!
Very clean and the employees are always happy to help!

Great food... The brisket and mac and cheese were outstanding. The cole slaw not so much... The service was OK, but too slow.

Very legit bbq brisket smoked for 15 hours. Sauces are on point and their sides are legitimately very good. Compares favorably to kansas and austin. Watch out for long lines during peak lunch hours. Go early or late.
