Everything we had was mediocre..dishes we ordered were orange chicken, shrimp wonton, garlic honey chicken, and something else I can't remember. The garlic honey chicken wings smelled and tasted like chocolate. Not saying I don't like chocolate but something not right with that. But on the other end, service was good and the food came out quickly
I went at the recommendation of hotel staff while visiting Chicago. I was told the food was good and that it was one of the few places open at night. Although the latter is true, I didn’t have as good of an experience when I ate here.
My egg roll came out a little burned but I ate it anyways and it was decent. I ordered kung pao chicken and the portion was huge but the chicken was very dry and overdone. I typically don’t send food back so I tried to eat it… after having a second piece of chicken I realized it was going to be pretty difficult to eat.
The server was very kind and let me choose something else from the menu. He went back to the kitchen and told me he’d tried a piece of chicken and that he agreed it was too dry. The service is the reason that this review is 3/5 and not 2/5. I chose the Thai chili fried tofu and the few pieces that I had were delicious. However, I didn’t eat much of it because I’d eaten the (also dry) rice that came with the chicken while I waited for my food the second time. I ordered a lemon tea as well but didn’t drink it because it tasted more like hot lemonade than tea.
The other reviews here seem pretty good, so I’m not sure what happened. It was a Wednesday at 10:30 pm, but there were still a decent number of people inside. This wouldn’t be a place I’d return to if I visit Chicago again.

Top notch food and great prices. One of the best in Chinatown in my opinion, and we come here a lot. The appetizer came out after our food, which was a little annoying because we were getting full. The food was 5 stars but service was rushed and impersonal. Still, an exceptional restaurant. My walnut shrimp was particularly memorable and a generous portion.

I missed Cantonese snack food so much. It was all good, but wish they'd baked my cream sauce seafood on rice. Brings me the childhood memories.

Honestly there’s nothing really to dislike about this place. Some things may have an acquired taste but most of the dishes I’ve had were great. They are open late but sometimes close at 1:30am instead of 2. Highly recommend the beef brisket soup or seafood soup. It’s 8 bucks and both are phenomenal. Egg rolls are delicious as well. Awesome place, extremely well priced.

Great food. Quick and friendly service. They are open late night. There was a 20 minute wait but we'll worth it. The diners comprised a conspicuously diverse ethnic mix. To the extent I've never noticed in any other restaurant. In my opinion, an excellent sign!! Kudos to the management and staff!

This is usually my first stop when I visit Chicago because they’re still open when I arrive around 10pm! A must order would be the salt and pepper pork chops. Tried the abalone and chicken congee and it was a disappointment, expect to get scallops instead of abalone. The rest of the dishes were good though!

Absolutely unacceptable. The hours are wrong. I arrived at 1am even though there were still people inside eating, they refused to take my order. I even offered an extra $10 plus the bill, he still refused to take my order.
Yet they claim they are open till 2am and 4am.
Absolutely ridiculous.

Great experience. We have coming here for years, the food is always delicious and fresh. The service is really good. Favorites include the salt & pepper pork chop and fried rice noodle & beef with soy sauce. They also serve very good congee and milk tea. Prices are affordable.
