My endless Alaskan King Crab & Prime Burger experience was superb here! It was definitely an experience like no other and worth trying while it lasts. The quality & amount of the food is well worth the high price per person (~$200 per person with tips&taxes included).
The all-you-can-eat meal came with a complimentary crab dip that was also delicious. We had one Prime Burger, which was cut into quarters and surprisingly really good as others have reviewed! The meat was tender and juicy (sauce was a bit on the salty side). But don't get tempted to finish both dishes and get full if you're here for the endless crab experience :) The crab legs themselves were freshly boiled and have a lot of flavor. They have 4 different butters (garlic, old bay, hot sauce, and plain) -- I personally liked the crab with just a squeeze of lemon juice.
On top of it all, our server Cody was the absolute best. He provided great suggestions and checked up on us often. He really kept the crab coming and made sure we were enjoying our meal. Huge kudos to him!!
Highly recommend giving the Crab Cellar a try if you are into crab legs.
This was an excellent experience!!! Our server was named T and she was great. We started with bottomless schooners of beer, pro tip skip the beer, then crab dip, French fries and Mac and cheese were sent to our table. Stay strong avoid those carbs cause crab is coming. The crab was delivered hot and you need to crack the crabs yourself. The crab legs kept coming without question. I truly enjoyed this experience. Only one question left, why is it called crab cellar when the restaurant is on the second floor?

Love the crab legs. Make sure you come hungry. The sides are great, especially the Mac N cheese and the crab dip, but make sure you don't fill up on them. They got 4 different kind of butters you can swap between for your crab; Fresno butter is spicy and delicious but feels kinda heavy, garlic butter is probably my favorite. I usually don't like working for my food but it was fun to work with a bunch of tools to try to get all the crab meat in 1 big piece. My clumsy self ended up cutting myself, but the manager got me antibacterial ointment and bandaids, so glad they were prepared. Definitely gonna come back and see if I can eat more crab legs the 2nd time around.

It wasn't what I saw on the TV show, but what can you do? The all you can eat lobster was good! Sad that there is a shortage of crab legs, the shrimp was HUGE, the crab dip was absolutely amazing!! I would like the recipe????! Not sure if I would go back as it is pricey and they make you prepay, then charge you for your drinks, but all in all I enjoyed the experience!

I could almost taste the food as I am typing this review. A friend of mine recommended this place to me, she had only seen this advertised on a tv spotlight. Sure enough when I was planning a trip to Chicago I had get reservations. So I stalked the website to make my reservation lol. Everything was delicious. I just wished I could keep eating. Highly recommend

What a deal! The service was fast, and these lobsters were massive! Would do this again, when I get the taste of lobster out of my mouth lol.
Not too formal of an atmosphere, which is appreciated.

It was an amazing birthday dinner. Pretty pricey to not be able to take home a doggy bag. You get nothing.... only what you can eat there.

This place is amazing! It's quite expensive, but it's fun for a trip if you're looking for a special event meal, or if you're from out of town like me. If you're big into crab or lobster then this place is second to NONE. The experience is very personalized and they really take care of everyone - you'll have a lot more fun here compared to an expensive traditional restruant. And of course the food is unbelievable... I think we made it like 7 rounds. To be honest the sides were probably my favorite part but all the food went together perfectly. Gotta be careful not to fill up on the buttery carbs but if you balance everything correct then you can really get a lot of good food. I'd like to come back next time I'm in chitown since we don't have anything like this out in the farmlands of michigan lol.
One quick tip, the place is very busy and crowded with people, so be on the guard for your surroundings to avoid people bumping into you (or worse have a dish spilled). I haven't seen it happen but I'm sure it could with all the people.

Will come back when I can, many times more, hoping! +2, reserved ahead, added sides, filet (lobster was not available (assuming per reviews)) and the Schooner (Chalice/Goblet). Would do w/o filet and just stick with prime burgers all day (one of my best burgers I've had, seriously). I give it a 4 stars, as this is my 1st visit....
Beginner learning curve (wished reviews were more descriptive on services set-ups, but some did as it help on my 1st): This place is hidden inside and downstairs of Quality Crab and Qyster Bah, host will attend and take you downstairs. You will be seated (bring a light warm fleece/jacket, its cold), you will be greeted and will start you off on your reserved order, rubber red circle is to grab the crab to crack and start eating! Make sure to spin the sides "around".......with so much going on, it is hard to stick to your objective but hay, you will feel stuffed, amazed and wanting more

Place is literally the cellar of Quality Crab and Oyster Bah. You have to descend a flight of stairs to the right side of the entrance of the building.
There are five tables with a bar to the side. Pretty small which is why you need reservations for this place.
Our server Ryan was great very attentive and good at conversing and making us feel comfortable.
We we given an appetizer. Blur crab cream cheese dip with shallots. Buttered italian bread which was then toasted was served on the side. Excellent, I could eat this all day, but have crab to eat.
First came the burgers which were made to our preference. The burgers were medium sized cut into quarters. The buns were pretty good had good browning on them. Fries were just fries. Choose of cheeses were blue, cheddar, or American. Meat being prime was excellent. It had a nice mouthful.
On to the crab, perfectly steamed, and had the right amount of saltiness. There was plenty of meat in the legs and almost all were of colossal size. No limp claws were found. For the dipping butters, you can choose from sweet European butter, garlic butter, or Cajun butter. I preferred the garlic butter, Cajun butter was more sour than spicy. European butter was too plain.
My only disappointment was a personal one. I brought someone who had never cracked crabs before and he didn't feel like doing much. Lazy. Thanks Rich.
Back to to the positives I more than made up for it. The server Ryan and the kitchen brought up the crabs quickly as soon as we finished each pot.
I would heartily recommend this place. Bring a empty stomach and arrive just a little before your appointment or else you'll be paying for cocktails while waiting. That bar by the street entrance is just too tempting!
