I moved to Chicago a few months ago from Philly and have been lamenting the pizza situation in this city ever since. Then I found Craft Pizza. It is the closest thing to NY style I have found. In fact if you put a large plain Jane in a lineup of my other favorite pizza places back home I could probably not pick it out as being different. It is just about perfect. Also for anyone else reading this looking for NY style pizza, Jimmy’s Pizza Cafe would get second place. Keep up the good work, Craft Pizza!
Ok ok, another pizza pie. But this reminds me of east coast and a needed alternative to the typical Chicago deep-dish. The sausage is proprietary here, have to try. Also the pepperoni cusps up like true deal. She loves the Plain Jane but I am a fan of half pepperoni / half sausage. BYOB, there is a store a 2 blocks away (south). It's easier to park on the west/east one ways than Damon if before 6pm...!

Pizza was okay. Good sauce and cheese but poor crust because the outside is rock hard while the center is like a wet noodle. I don't mind floppy pizza but the outer crust was so hard that it made it difficult to fold without manually breaking in a few spots first. Kinda skimpy on toppings.

Very good pizza. You get that nice neighborhood feel. The staff and owner are down to earth and the pizza/ salads are fairly priced.

Craft pizza is so good that it puts every other place in Chicago on notice. Crisp Naples-ish style crust, fresh toppings, friendly team and they are always playing the smoothest of smooth and funky jams.

Hands down one of the best craft pizzas in the area. Also, can't beat the Tuesday special. With nice weather and a patio for alfresco dining and BYOB, on top of delicious slices, what's not to love!?

Not bad at all. I am just visiting from Houston. My friend wanted to try this place out. We had the 18" Dolce Vita and added sausage. Not bad at all! I will say, I'm only going 4 stars because they are pretty sparse on the toppings. Ours was 95% cheese with some peppers and sausage sparesly spread around. But it's not a huge deal. I'd still say give this spot a try and see what you think!

The best pizza in all of Chicago! Can’t go wrong with the white truffle pizza with mushrooms. We love going on Tuesday when you can get a $15 large pizza—truly an unbeatable deal. Also the main manager John is truly such a kind person—as regular customers, he always demonstrated exceptional customer service.

The worst customer service in the entire world!!! We visit this place many times and this is the third time that we bring people because we try to support small businesses BUT they are completely disrespectfull!! The owner should learn that everything that he says it’s been leasing for everything!! I hope they can sell this place for a better businessman.

Great quality ????that satisfies my soul????♂️- The missing star is because it’s a little salty past the first slice, but nothing major. The Tuesday special is amazing, and is my go-to in the neighborhood.

10000000/5 STARS!
Pizza was DELICIOUS! Staff was FANTASTIC! Everyone is having a ball! The staff is singing along to the music and having a great time. Great vibes! And John, the owner....ANGEL HUMAN!!! I wanted to get a half and half pizza because I wanted to try as much as I could; they weren't able to do half/half bases so John came out to our table, sat down with us and was like "Let's work this out!" He asked me what I was craving, talked about the menu, flavors, etc. and helped us come up with a new order. Can't speak more highly! We will DEFINITELY be back for the pizza AND people!!!

Very casual vibe. BYOB. Garlic bread was good but dipping sauce was cold and I thought that was a bit bizarre. Caesar was good but not $9 good. Pizza was delish but still on the hunt for the best NYC substitute in Chicago. This was pretty close. Would absolutely come back if in the neighborhood.

Such a great find! Unpretentious place with great pizza, cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. A must place to go when in Wicker Park, but definitely worth the trip.

This is maybe one of the only pizza places where I have ever stated that I needed to return on a regular basis, and I mean it in the most sincere way possible.
The fact that it has been a long time since I have actually eaten here does not detract from the fact that this restaurant represents everything that I love about Chicago ever since my friends and I moved here. It's not particularly flashy, but the inside was comfortable, and the vibe was excellent, you can definitely come just for its relaxing vibes . Once you step inside, you'll undoubtedly appreciate the ambience. Although the Amore Pizza was great, it could not compare to my all-time favorite pizza here, the Wicker Pork Pizza, which I had ordered the day before. Nonetheless, the experience was enjoyable. To top it all off, the service was nothing short of outstanding. Without a doubt, a top-notch suggestion!

If you’re going to use DoorDash for delivery, you have to make sure it’s being handled properly and kept warm. Pizza arrived literally cold to the touch and was obvious the drivers were not keeping it in a warming bag. Also, drivers were not careful with it as the cheese had slid off half the pizza. I love your pies, but if this is the only option for delivery you have to do better!! Got a close to full refund from DD as it was almost inedible. Really unfortunate.

Great pizza, decent prices, and very friendly. The pizza is like the thin, bubbly stuff you find in Italy. They sell pizza by the slice early evening (call for times, I forget exact time) and it reheats well, unlike other places that I've had that do PBTS.

Best pizza i ate in a while! You gotta try their red sauce, delicious! Crust was thin and crunchy, both pizzas were rich in ingredients. My go to spot from now on ????

Phenomenal pizza! Great all-arounder! Light, airy chewy crust! Clean, punchy sauce!! Basic, but fresh cheesy! Absolutely mouthwatering!

The food and the staff here were great. Pizza was served to us fast and with jokes and smiles. The taste was amazing and was for an average price. The place felt lively from the staff even though we were one of two groups in the restaurant. Had I been living in the area I would've made that place a regular spot. Their fountain drinks are also not the typical brands but an upgrade from them.
