Been coming to Dee's for many years and have found this to be the best Mandarin Restaurant in the city of Chicago and surrounding counties. Every menu item is delicious, service is exceptional, and the room is comfortable.
so we ordered mongolian beef over the phone, we got very salted meat flour coated, and I guess it was pork, I am fan of mongolian beef and this time I got something way different than mongolian beef, couple hours later I got stomach cramps

I was a huge fan of the chicken fried rice. Unfortunately a family member had ordered the cucumber salad and asked the ingredients as she has a specific allergy. When we sat down to eat she immediately froze and had an allergic reaction. She has eaten many cucumber salads and not once have they had ginger. The menu does not state ginger in it, nor did the person who took her order and reviewed the ingredients. She was luckily able to get a refund but it was just for the salad. When she spoke to the manager they assured her that all cucumber salads have ginger (they don’t) and were defensive instead of being accommodating. They did not call her back when prompted. Otherwise, no other accommodations were made as she was a first time customer. If you have specific allergies be sure to ask the owner! I believe they told my sister they would adjust the menu to show ingredient list. The owner took care of it otherwise I was worried about her aspiring food reaction.

I've been eating at and ordering from Dee's longer than I can remember. The restaurant is closed now, but fortunately we can still order takeout. Consistently delicious! If I had to pick one single item on the menu to recommend, it is definitely the eggs rolls. Crispy on the outside, robustly filled, amazing flavor.

If you wanted msg go elsewhere. This is the epitome of fresh Mandarin cuisine. Dee always is working and she's slaying, most Chinese restaurants now charge about the same for salty stale food. Go to Dee's and you'll be full of delicious wholesome food

The kung pao beef was amazing. Service was great and quick. Wasn't very busy at 6:30. Teriyaki chicken doesn't come with a lot of vegetables. Only complaint is that the portions could be a tad bigger. 5 stars as far as Chinese restaurants go though. Check it out.

The twice-cooked pork was good, and the kimchi was great. My boyfriend had the General Tso's also good. It's not the best food I've had, but it was very good.
The service is why gets this up to five stars. Service was friendly, fast and thorough. The clencher is that when my boyfriend left his sunglasses at the restaurant, the manager (I believe it may have been the owner) chased us down the street to return them! She was so friendly. I will definitely return.

Love Dee's scallion pancakes and the mu shu with beef. The sesame noodles were less peanutty than I had hoped for, but were still good. Ordered for delivery and was pleased that the food arrived 25 minutes before quoted time. Next time I'll try the poke appetizer and some Sushi, both of which sounded delicious.

Awesome Chinese food, which you can see by the amount of regulars that come in here. The food was delicious, the service was quick (I think the food was brought to our table in like 15 minutes). The best Mongolian Beef I could find near Lincoln Park.
