When cook was handed a tip from customer, I tried to tell him to change our his gloves but he got upset when I explained that was handling money and food with the same gloves. He eventually changed his gloves but had an attitude about it. When I was handed my order I again tried to ask if he understood why I said that but he just ignored me and would not listen. Please be cautious about the cooks and their process and how your food is handled.
Hard to find. Food isn’t great, but quite possibly one of the most cost effective breakfasts/lunches in downtown chicago for office workers.

If I could give them 0 stars I definitely would. I am not one to be mean but I ordered a burger with fries today and one of the fries was still frozen…. Also the cherry on top is I took a bite of my hamburger only to find a white string that looked like dental floss (not sure what it was) coming from inside the meat…… I will never eat a hamburger again.

One of the few resturants that come the downtown population full. Prices are reasonable the cook is excellent and the waitress was superb. Eating here at least 3 times a week rather it's breakfast or lunch. Definitely worth it

Today was a first for me. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and asked for my bread to be buttered and toasted. Well suffice to say the worker didn't do this. He only ran the bread through their toaster. When I stated that he didnt butter his demeanor shifted.
This employee spreaded butter on my already prepared sandwich. So now my bread is soggy with the butter and the meat is saturated!! OmG!!
How unprofessional!

I like this place! They prepare marvelous dishes, their menu is large, The chief cook in that place is a real authority in the kitchen, I love very much trying all their food. The dishes are consistently tasty, the service towards the clients is friendly. I often eat in this place and I not even once was disappointed. Highly recommended.

Delmonico Restaurant 's is absolutely amazing. My friend and I were trying to decide where to grab a bite to eat last night and we wanted different things--per the usual. He heard of this little place called Delmonico Restaurant 's and had me search it out on Yelp! to find out more details. He loves looking at the pics people post of their food and I love reading the reviews. We saw that Delmonico Restaurant was most definitely the place for us to try.

Been here twice now. I enjoy the selection of both salad and hot items, and the fact that it's slightly cheaper per pound than the other buffet style lunch places in the loop. Nothing particularly wowed me or made me want to come back for any individual item, but everything did have an ok flavor, and when hard pressed to find a place open past 2pm for lunch, this place fits the bill.

Not bad! This cafeteria-style lunch spot is more down-to-earth and less crowded than any Market Creations or the Chase Building basement cafe. It's all pay-by-the-pound, so be mindful as you scoop up a little spoonful of everything! All the food was good and very traditional - so it was perfect for even picky eaters.

I love that it's a $6.39/lb buffet for those days where I can't decide what I really want to eat. It is clean and well labeled. However, the food isn't exactly to the temperature I like my hot foods at, so by the time I walk back to my office, I do need to reheat it a min or two. I personally liked their crusted chicken, ribs, lasagna, Idaho mashed potatoes, and chicken wings. Avoid the "beef" grayish colored meatloaf.
