I’ve visited Edie’s twice and ordered almost exactly same things both times. The experience was much better the second time because I guess they saw the reviews online calling out the poor service. When I came for the first time, the waitress has no idea what she was doing and the table she sat us was not cleaned. She paid no attention to us and forgot our orders. I would have gave this place a 3 star if it was based on just the first visit. However, when I visited here the second time recently, I was surprised to see that things have become much more organized. I saw new staff being trained by old employees, and the service was impeccable, food is amazing as always, five star.
A little mad I can't give Edie's a sixth star. The breakfast was unbelievable, the coffee was a treat, and the staff were stupendous. I even had the wonderful experience of great conversations with other solo diners while eating at the bar. I would recommend this spot for anyone going to Chicago, even if it is out of the way from your home base.

Excellent place for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack. Full bar, beer and wine too. Salads, charcuterie, sandwiches and even a burger. Everything is fresh and delicious. Pastries, and unique lattes. We'll be back. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

Such a cute place. Beautifully decorated, light and airy. Great service. Tasty protein shake...yes tasty and no grit.

Wife chose this spot to start my father's day. We arrived around 830am and we sat outside. We both ordered lattes. The wife ordered quiche and I enjoyed the French toast. A nice neighborhood spot.

A really wonderful, clean, cute place. I went in for the first time yesterday to work, expecting it to be a typical order-at-the-counter coffeehouse but wow, was I wrong. From the moment I stepped foot into Edie’s I was very well taken care of. The host was courteous and informative and the servers I had were a delight (I’m sorry I couldn’t remember the first server’s name but Carly (aka Alison Brie doppelgänger ????) was super nice! I love the vibe and decor - it was quiet enough to work in but also vibrant enough to feel energized and the music was awesome! The food was delicious - I had a soy white mocha latte, a Mexi-bowl, and lemon blueberry cheesecake. I recommend this place for a different kind of cafe experience in the city. Will most definitely come back!

I would have never thought I would be having Charcoal in my latte but here we are. My initial reaction was oh no. After taking one sip, I was a fan. Both the Charcoal latte and Lavender latte were delicious. Although Lavender latte could have been less sweet, it was yummy nonetheless. I enjoyed the Pesto + Goat Cheese flatbread and the Chicken sandwich.

Great vibe. I had the charcoal glitter latte, it looked gorgeous but it tasted just good, not fabulous. The rose coffee cake muffin was a bit dry We were there at the end of the day, so that could be why. I’ve been here before and I’ve had better coffee and pastry, so this might be a fluke.

Highly recommend the chai latte. Hot, spicy, and delicious! Get in before 11:00 a.m. to avoid the lunch crush. Plenty of cool indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is very chill. As I enjoyed my beverage, a lovely breakfast burger was served near by. It was topped with bacon, guac, and egg. I will definitely return to sample the food!

Had a good little brunch and coffee here. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious my breakfast sandwich was, as I’ve been to a few cutesy places with colorful lattes that focus on the aesthetic and not the food. Everything we had here was fresh and tasted great! We went on a weekday so it wasn’t too busy, and our service was good. Would definitely go back.

I live around the corner and would order the cobb salad ALL the time. Its really good, HOWEVER, as of recently the quality of the salad has been TERRIBLE!!! the lettuce is always rotten (this is the 2-3rd time in a row), my avocado was a little brown but still ok enough to eat. Def not worth the $20 it costs.
The atmosphere is very nice, especially in the summer when you can sit outside. Everyone is kind and the manager responds back quickly and professionally and has provided a refund immediately each time but its gotten annoying to want something local but every time I get home I'm dissatisfied. I haven't ordered anything else but this salad so please go and check it out. Pricey but still worth the experience.

Chicken salad Sammies is too rough made……literally just a thick layer of chicken Caesar salad placed between two pieces of buns. But The flat bread pizza is great!
Their coffee quality needs to improve, honestly. Drip coffee is too light. Probably the coffee beans they use can be darker.

Fantastic breakfast place! First time here and absolutely loved the decor, vibe, service, and the amazing coffee. Went in on a Sunday morning and was seated after a 15 minute wait. This cafe is so beautiful and has such a warm ambience.
The innovations coffee was my most favorite thing. Both the lavender latter and vanilla bee latte were so creamy. Beautiful looking and flavorful latte. I can’t wait to go back to Edie’s and try the rose and charcoal latte. The food was amazing as well. The overnight oats and parfait are a must have. The avocado toast and the egg white frittata were really good too. The chocolate croissant was baked to perfection.
Our server was really good and made great recommendations. When our heater turned off she quickly found someone to replace the gas and get the heater turned back on. Do check out this place for its artisanal coffee, amazing pastries, and awesome service.

A fantastic breakfast place! They had a good selection of breakfast/brunch items including pastries and bagels to fill meals like lox or avocado toast. The interior was very chic and welcoming while the servers were friendly and helpful. We ate inside, but saw a lot of individuals picking up to-go orders.

I was impressed with the food! The charcuterie plate we got was very well designed and interesting, and our entrees were filling and tasty. The chicken salad sandwich I ordered was enormous on a delicious poppy seed roll. The only downside was the service which I found to be lacking and sporadic.
