Delicious passion fruit margaritas ($30/pitcher that served 5-6 pours). Shrimp tacos and al pastor tacos (which were fish) were both bland, wouldn’t order again. Not a ton of flavor for the price. Great restaurant ambience, fast and friendly service, and super spicy bottled hot sauce. The hot sauce was the highlight of the meal, minus the margaritas! Would come for drinks but not food next time.
Good Mexican seafood. Drinks have a good kick to it. Nice ambient. Best with a group of friends.

Food was pretty good but not my favorite. I did LOVE the beans that came with the meals! Chips and 3 mini salsas to try before order was nice but I found myself missing salt that was clearly not on the tortillas. I got the shrimp enchiladas and wish I would've asked for flour tortillas. Corn is the default so make the request if you prefer flour. My wife and daughter loved their meals though and our server was great!!
The selling point on this place though is the margaritas! Get passion fruit with a tajin rim. Trust me. I wouldn't come back for food considering the price point and not loving it but I would for sure come back for cocktails!

THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE! The flavors here are so fresh and authentic, and the seafood is cooked perfectly so it isn’t chewy or rubbery but rather soft and easily cut with a fork. I can’t wait to come and try everything else on the menu!

Haven't been here in a while but food is great! Service was good but felt a little like we had to chase them down a little. Where else can you get a whole deep fried red snapper!

This restaurant has really good, food, sauces and drinks. It's small and always packed on the weekend. They've probably outgrown their location the kitchen is bustling and dishes are overflowing. They need a better system for back of the house. The drinks and tequila selection are fantastic. The flavors are great. Dishes can and should be split, their huge. Music is always playing, lively atmosphere. There is some outside seating which is great parking is right across if you can't find a spot. We haven't had a dish we didn't like, next time I want to try the char broiled octopus. The sauces served with the chips are worth the trip alone..Amazing! You can also order the sauces you love to go. The brown one below is the best, next to the sangaria.

Poor food quality. They used to serve this delicious fried potatoe slices with your dish, which now is gone. Had some melted cheese shrimps along, which was tasteless. This seafood place used to be great...

The El Barco website is never updated for days and times. Went a few days in the same week and it was closed for different reasons. 1st time it was some undisclosed event that occurred and they closed right before we arrived around 5pm. The next few days it was closed due to kitchen repairs with only a sign posted on the door. Then when we finally got to go and the Red Snapper was over cooked, ugh! The drinks are amazing however. The food is delicious as long as instructions are provided so your food turns out right. The salas served with the chips are tasty too. Great place if you can catch them when they are actually open.
