So even though it looks amazing , this is the driest taco on the driest tortilla that I have ever had ever with or without salsa. However the quesadillas are excellent and the horchata is delicious, but the price point is ridiculous even for people like myself who love love love supporting private business. They add all sorts of ridiculous taxes that the business itself should be paying to your bill, not to mention they are not a full-service restaurant.
I had a fish taco and a veggie taco. The veggie was tastier. Good combo of veggies, cilantro n sauce. The fish is deep fried tilapia, so i didn't care for it as much cuz the breading was kinda hard. I'd go back though!

Tried their steak which was really good. The alpastor which was decent as well. The refried beans were made full of flavor. And the rice wasn't too bad either. Will eat here again if I'm in the area.

Really, really great spot. Some of the best Carne asada tacos I've ever had. Al pastor was really good, too. Both were flavorful and tender. And the star was the homemade corn tortillas. Not dry or thin. Flavorful. Sturdy. Soft. Delectable.
Go eat here.

I enjoyed the handmade corn tortilla. If you let it soak too long then it is prone to breaking, but if you eat your food right away, it tastes very good and does not break. It would be nice to have two corn tortillas together to catch the taco droppings, but they make thicker ones instead.
Chicken tinga is good, al pastor is good, but chorizo isn't the best. Authentic arroz rojo and refried beans.
Don't forget the horchata either!!!

So yummy! Lots of vegetarian options and plenty for your carnivores as well. Yo soy Tejana and I approve of this authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is fresh and the service is excellent.

Update: The Mole Fries are where it's at. One of the best things about stopping in this little BYOB, aside from the fresh made tortillas, aside from the high-quality meat, aside from the friendly staff and quick to-go service, aside from the basket of tortilla chips and salsa for the table and aside from the fair prices is the fact that it is next to a liquor store. Stop in for a Grapefruit tallboy White Claw and get a few tacos on the way home from the burbs. Absolute perfection. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Excellent, fresh, and high quality. Unbeatable. I’ve lived in Chicago a little over 2 years and before that, Texas. I cannot think of a place with better fish tacos and salad.
Highlights:
GLUTEN FREE fried fish tacos.
Favorites:
Fish tacos (fried or grilled)
Southwestern Salad
Fresh made corn tortillas!!! AMAZING!
Three fresh salsas and they are all amazing.
Tips: check out the lunch specials: incredible value for the high quality product you receive!
Know before you go: BYOB. I have only been for lunch but I see that they do sell a homemade margarita mix. There is a liquor store next door.
Two non-food related praises:
1) The absolute cleanliness of this restaurant. I’ve been 8 times in the last 2 weeks and have not once encountered a sticky table or dirty floor. Prior to that, a few time’s and the same experience.
2) The staff: everyone is friendly and whether you call or order in person you can order in English or Spanish (I love this!)
The photos are from a few different visits.
