Great food great prices if you want a really good meal at a great price, and tonight Young Frankenstein was on the TV, this is the place to eat! Also great breakfasts I had the pulled pork omelet what a treat so delicious.
Chicken is delicious ???? Banana pudding is out of this world. Sides are kinda hit or miss. The fried okra is one of our of our favorites too.

Chicken, specials and regular entrees are all delicious. The best quality and selection of side dishes in the city. Basket of hand cut fries for the table is a must. BYOB is a jackpot bonus on the outdoor patio

Food was overpriced compared to the quality of taste and size. The chicken sandwich was not that good and small sad looking like a chicken sandwich from McDonald’s on the dollar menu and mashed potatoes that were 3:50 tasted so bland and actually nasty. Biscuit was okay only cool thing was the soda with a ice cream on it. Place does look cool but the food taste awful.

I ordered the fried chicken meal, okra and banana pudding and let me just say I WILL be a repeat customer! I was absolutely skeptical because it’s usually a miss when I try to find good comfort food. My only suggestion would be to add more cookie to the banana pudding ( i only had two ☹️) and maybe try using smoked gouda cheese in the mac for more flavor… other than that, the greens , okra , and everything else was fresh and very much ON POINT … thank you for not disappointing

Delicious southern food in a super relaxed environment. Diner-like setting with a TV quietly on and no music playing. People talk in low-controlled voices. Quite pleasant place to grab a casual bite

This place is a true hidden gem! The building is unassuming and a small operation. We visited today on Fathers Day and it didn’t disappoint. It was our first time there so we ordered off of the Fathers Day brunch menu. I had the Louisiana Hash. Made of home fries, roasted chicken, crab, andouille sausage, 2 eggs any way and onions and peppers. Hubs had the Chicken Fried Chicken with Sawmill gravy, two eggs any way, taters and toast. We loved everything. We sat on the patio of course. The tables were spaced appropriately and not crowded. It’s a really neat spot because you have to go around the corner and enter through a garage to get to it. The service isn’t super fast but like I said it’s a small operation and they were really friendly. There were only two people that we could see. One was cooling and one was serving. This didn’t bother us at all because we like to support small neighborhood businesses. We will def be going back!

This place was awesome! Great southern food at a great price. Fried catfish sandwich was very crispy and delicious. Pulled pork was juicy, and even the buns were noticeably good. Definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of joint. Everything on the menu looked and sounded so good. I will definitely be back!
