Breakfast and coffee not tasty. Coffee was bitter, crepe was dry. Stuff not friendly. Why I should go here for breakfast? I can do better at home and faster. (And with love.)
P.S. I like your sourdough bread.

I really enjoyed this little bakery. The macrons we're super delightful and exactly what you want (crispy shell and delicate inside). I'd say the lemon poppy seed was my favorite. I also really enjoyed the feta and spinach croissant. The croissant was buttery and flaky and the feta was super yummy. While it is a little bit on the expensive side, i think the prices are super warranted considering the quality of the food. They also have a wonderful outside seating to enjoy your food.

Had heard lots about this bakery so tried for the first time. They are very good! Some say their croissants are like what you get in France. They are really good! Tried their quiche, macrons. Good! This location's outdoor patio is also great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND La Boulangerie!

I ordered the feta and cheese croissant, chocolate eclair and fruit tart. The croissant and eclair were delicious. The fruit tart needs some work. The tart shell was soggy and the custard was undercooked. I could taste the flour/cornstarch and it seems like it wasn’t poured through a mesh sieve because there were still large clumps that weren’t filtered. This final note is just a personal preference but I’d add more vanilla as well.

- Favorite place to come as a teen when they were next to new wave. This new location has such a VIBE.
- They make the best French bread in Logan.
- ALMOND croissant is all the rave at this place.
- A cortado with lavender syrup is my fav.
- Plenty of parking on Milwaukee and Kedzie. Free on Sundays. Walking distance from blue line.
- Front street patio and hidden garden patio make this place extra dreamy for a date.
- All the staff is super patient and very nice. Clean bathroom always.

I’m sorry but the bread is not good. My husband asked for sourdough and brought back an overproofed, puffy yeast bread with no flavor. He bought a rye bread too and just not high quality. I am comparing to European bakeries, but regardless, it’s just not as high quality as I was looking for. It’s hard to find good quality bread in the States :/

What. A. Treat. I took my wife here for a birthday dessert. We tried various Macarons and the raspberry tart. Everything was delicious so placed a second order to go. I highly recommend stopping in, we will be going back.

One of the absolute gems of the neighborhood. We visit so often that my dog naturally walks into the garden even if we are only passing by!

I've never had a bad or honestly, even mediocre item here. The croissants are as good as it gets. Sweet, savory, or plain - they're all fantastic. Of course the bread is wonderful, macrons are tasty, and the hot sandwiches are great as well.

Generally good, but a lot of room for improvement. I'll keep updating my experiences since I live nearby.

Had a few items that just weren't fresh enough, not for a boulangerie at least. (Choux à la crème chantilli, quiche).

Also quiche tastes underwhelming, if you're used to the real deal. I think LB's version has some yellow cheese cluncked in the bottom.

This morning I had an apple slice made with filo dough. The dough was uncooked. (see pictures)

Cranberry muffin was great. Croissant and baguette was fresh. Latte's are good.
Atmosphere at this establishment is good too. The staff outfits bring some charm.

Perfect place for a quick bite to eat. They sell an assortment of pastries along with sandwiches, salads, coffee and teas. They have bottle of champagne and a small shelf with miscellaneous item you can purchase; honey, sardines, croutons, cereal, and etc.

I had the turkey sandwich and it was absolutely delicious! The bread was thick and fluffy and just fantastic. I ordered a hibiscus iced tea. My family and I sat outside on their patio. They have a lot of seating inside but limited seating outside. Definitely want to coke back again and get a sweet next time.
