They are doing impressive things with French cuisine here. I was charmed by the mood and atmosphere but the menu and wine selection were the main event. Quite satisified with this as top choice for an unforgettable, romantic anniversary dinner.
Perfect service of superb French food in an upscale townhouse off North Michigan Avenue.

Some high end restaurants leave you wondering “was it worth it?” Not Los Nomades. The building is elegant. The staff, from the friendly greeting and all through, are pitch-perfect in being sensitive to not interrupt conversations, but still attentive. And the food is outstanding, every dish. The bill was indeed high, but seems a bargain for a restaurant that does everything excellently. For a special event, or if you can afford it more often, Les Nomades is definitely worth it.

My favorite restaurant in all Chicago. A must for anyone who appreciates truly gourmet food, professional service and quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Great place to enjoy exquisite menu over conversation friends or colleagues, or a romantic dinner. Every year I come to Chicago since 2014 - Les Nomades is my number 1 choice for dinner.

Friend and myself did the chefs menu with a pairing of reds and it was absolutely out of this world! 5+ stars easily. Just remember to bring your wallet. Worth every penny however.

Disappointed, my husband made reservations a couple of weeks ago with the owner for a wine pairing/tasting menu, however, when we got there we were told they didn't do a tasting menu??? We did the prix fix menu which was mostly tasty except for the overcooked lobster, the souffle was fantastic! Our server Josie was lovely and did an amazing job. Stuffy atmosphere. We cannot recommend this restaurant.

Let’s start by the facts !
First is this house in between two sky scrapers about less the a ft apart , have you seen the movie up! ? Well kinda like that I think that’s pretty cool.
The atmosphere is very cozy and elegant , I almost felt like a general walking inside a military building well organized and respectful.
We were taken to the upstairs room a bit mor private and we went because it was my wife’s birthday ,
The menu is simple is a 4-5 course menu and you get to pick out of 2-3 choices for each section .
Appetizer
Soup or salad
Main entree
Desert
I would suggest to order the oysters or the foie gras!
Absolutely amazing !
The Foie Gras is a sweeter dish. With a good balance of sweet , sour an salty !
Next I would get the the mushroom soup if fenomenal ! Almost feels like a crea of mushroom but with out any cream the texture is soft and snappy!
Then I suggest get the lamb ! Omg it actually brought a tear or two while eating it was expertly cooked I got mine medium rare and was on point ! Also the fish comes with a red wine sauce which out of this world ! Make sure you order enough bread to help you clean the plate out of that sauce !
Also to my knowledge the chef is well known for his sauces so I highly recommend any dish with a sauce.
Overall it was a great experience very private and cozy ! Excellent for a romantic getaway or even just for a relaxed night.
The food is amazing and very unique . I have eaten in many places in France including Eiffel Tower tour 54 restaurants and this is by far one of the best French restaurants I have attended .
100% recommended well worth every dollar

Spectacular food, wine, service and atmosphere. A fine dining experience that is hard to find nowadays. Thank you for making a special occasion memorable.

Put environment and service aside, the taste of food itself is really not that outstanding. Well, of course it is good, but not what I expected for a fine dining restaurant like this. Especially the lamb main course—it is totally a disappointment.
But anyways, their foie gras is really really good, probably one of the best that I ever had in the US. Their dessert and starter are not bad as well.
Not to be offensive to anybody, but their customers are mainly elder people. So do expect that classical vibe (from both the diners and the deco).
Service is not bad. Descent.
Probably won’t come back again. The experience just doesn’t get me.

What a charming place for a night out with your special someone or an anniversary. The food was exquisite and amazing in every way. From the moment we walked in, the woman in coat check was so sweet and inviting. They seated us on the second floor near the fire place and it was darling and so romantic. We had a fixed menu with many options. Started with Artichoke terrine, petite salade, hazelnut vinaigrette and Seared Hudson Valley, foie gras, baked apple, banana water and they were both perfect in taste and so delicious. To be honest, I didn't think I'd enjoy the four gras but it was perfection. We also enjoyed the Mixed greens Belgian endive salad
fresh Wisconsin goat cheese, carmelized pecans and walnuts, red wine vinaigrette. For dinner we ordered the Braised Wagyu beef short rib, pommes gratin, sauce Bordelaise and the Beef tenderloin. Both were cooked to perfection and so tender with lots of flavor. For dessert, we love chocolate so we ordered the Warm flourless chocolate cake, liquid cassis ganache center, vanilla ice cream and the Double chocolate cake, cremeux, brownie biscuit, truffle chantilly. The double chocolate was FIRE! They also brought out some mini desserts in the end that they prepare in house and they were so cute and yummy. Definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back. Our server Josie was incredible! She was so cute, kind, and attentive. She had some great recommendations. Carlos I believe was the manager, he made sure to keep the fire place going all night and a great conversationist. Thanks for a lovely evening.

One of the best in Chicago. The asparagus and mushroom risotto is fabulous and smells like spring. The oxtail consomme is hearty and reminds one of Pho broth. Souffle is the best I have ever tasted. The inside has a foam like texture and was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come back. Service was also flawless. The food was definitely worth the steep price tag.
