We were looking for breakfast close to the Shedd aquarium and came across this place. We had paid over $100 for 3 of us at the sad buffet at our hotel the day before so we were hoping for something more reasonable. All 3 of us loved Little Branch Cafe. Service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. And it was a lot less than $100! I had strawberry pancakes, my husband had a breakfast burrito and my son had bacon and fruit. (He’s 6 and picky!) would highly recommend!
Wonderful little spot off the beaten path of the neighborhood. Highly recommend walking over here. Really great coffee and pastries or you can sit down to a delicious cafe menu. Service is always fast.

Highly recommend this brunch location if ever in the Museum Campus location. It’s not a huge Cafe, but it is comfortable. The service was excellent, everyone there was very friendly and they checked on one enough but not overdoing it. The food was delicious as well as the smoothies. Everything is made fresh and that freshness can be tasted. The only thing we did not like was the espresso or cappuccino. They have an awesome espresso machine, but the quality of the grounds are probably not good enough. Mind you this is coming from an Italian family so, maybe the espresso is good to others, but that was our only dislike. Overall, I highly recommend Little Branch Cafe.

Pardon the bite out of my amazing frittata breakfast sandwich! It looked too good to wait. Perfectly fluffy and balanced. Big coffee and tea menu. Had coffee, black. Perfect as well. Place is quiet, sunny, and the whole staff are on point--servers and kitchen who created that wonderful plate.

My wife and I enjoyed a quick lunch here in between our visits to the Planetarium and the Aquarium. I had the smoked salmon panini and she had the Chicken sandwich panini. Both came with chips and a pickle spear. We enjoyed them both - they were juicy and fresh, and we’re happy to have chosen Little Branch Cafe for lunch.

Cute hidden cafe in the south loop. Very friendly staff, large breakfast menu with many options that all sounded delicious. I went with the Toucan smoothy and the Egg Frittata sandwich. I loved both! I must mention the potatoes, they were seasoned and so good!! Prices were very reasonable for downtown. This will be my go to spot when im in the area. ????????

Fun place to eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As some of the other reviewers have said, the food was a little bit bland, but what I think they mean is that the food wasn’t pre salted. I really enjoyed the natural flavors and being able to add a little bit of salt or a lot of I wanted. Without the overpowering salt I was able to taste the flavors of all the ingredients in the salsa and on the avocado toast.
The location is a little bit out of the way. Even then it was full at lunch time, but no wait.

Cozy spot for homestyle food. Eggs and bacon seemed undercooked and overcooked respectively but good experience overall.

Great spot ! My favorite is mascarpone stuffed French toast with blue berries. The chorizo breakfast is also very good, served with home tortillas I assume. Will return!

I go here often for my smoothies because they are very good, however, I ordered online recently and tried remove the choice of meat from my bagel sandwich. The employee said the item was already made and I could pick the meat off. I expressed to them that I am vegetarian and I have allergies that refrain me from eating meat. They proceeded to say that they could pick off the meat before delivering the food. I am unsure why they offer Grubhub orders if they do not allow any modifications. The wrap I also ordered had pieces of Avocado that had clearly gone bad (it was black) and the wrap was soaking wet. I am very disappointed with this experience, would not get food from here again.

Everything’s here is amazing and super fresh.
Although most food is made to order, it comes out quickly. The owners, staff, atmosphere, location and food are great.

Very cute and quaint space! I visited for the first time yesterday after having a difficult time finding a local coffee shop currently offering dine-in. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. I got the prosciutto and mozzarella panini and it had the perfect amount of each ingredient. They have a large amount of options for food and drink on their menu and they keep the coffee fresh! ☕️

The best breakfast in the south loop. Wonderful chefs and great customer service. One of our favorite places to do some computer work. It is small, so avoid coming with a large group. We love this local south loop spot.
