Super cool coffee shop. Looks kind of like a speakeasy on the inside. Great that it's an independently owned shop in the area and the dog portraits everywhere are amazing. Great coffee and atmosphere. The employees are super nice too!

Nice place of coffee shop. It is not expensive, and it has the smart pay. The coffee is nice. I am very enjoyed it. The place can make people go together and chat.

Stopped here for an afternoon pick me up on Saturday. They serve Counter Culture Coffee which is one of my favorite roasters! Tried the special “cookie crumble” latte and it was great! I’ll be back next time I’m in the area. Limited seating but cute/funky interior. Barista was friendly.

First place I’ve been to that could make a hot chocolate with oat milk, and it’s delicious! Nice service, they brought it to me as I sat at the window. The ambience is luxurious, I had to check I wasn’t in a pub or lounge when I first walked in. It would make a great coffee date, or just low light when you’re nursing a hangover. Friendly staff!

My fiancé and I decided to check out this cute dog themed coffee shop after a brief visit at the Lincoln Park Zoo on Friday 3/18/22. We got caught in the rain and we were looking for a nice coffee shop to stop at until the rain subsided.
We were both extremely satisfied with our beverages and the impeccable service we received while we were there. The barista, sorry I didn’t catch her name, had a wonderful attitude and she was very warm and welcoming. We loved the ambiance of the coffee shop because it was very cozy inside, and we loved the decor of unique portraits with dog faces.
When we received our in house orders (I ordered the honey lavender latte and he had the chai latte) both of our orders were delicious and presented beautifully. They also have matcha, and a WiFi printer is available for use if you need. If you’re ever in the Lincoln Park area I highly recommend that you head over to LUDLOW CHARLINGTON’S.

Literally the best coffee I've had in my entire life, I would've been here every day while I was in Chicago had I not discovered it the day before my flight. Would rate more than 5 stars if I could.

What a delightful place with the most delicious coffee! From unique and beautiful decor to incredible lattes, this place is an ideal coffee stop. It's a small business that also sells pastries and  bags of whole bean coffee (which he offered to ground on site!) and works towards giving back. They even had t-shirts, tumblers, and reusable straws available for purchase and adorable stickers on the counter to take home for free! Not to mention several people were on their laptops and there was a printer available! The business owner was the barista himself and was so kind, patient, and dedicated to producing high quality products and a delightful experience. It was hard to believe this business has only been open for just under half a year with how amazing the service and products are. There was even a clean (and stylish) bathroom! Additionally, there were plenty of vegan and decaf coffee accommodations. We walked to the amazing (and free!!) Lincoln Park Zoo after our visit.  I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Side note:  I do not get anything from publishing this review and was not asked to make this review. I personally just find detailed reviews incredibly helpful, especially when looking for certain amenities. I also love everything this business stands for as it is evident they are dedicated to being conscientious consumers in their business practice (for example, having certified B corporation coffee beans.)  Seriously, go check this place out. I'm sad I was only here in Chicago  for one day. (And as an Oregon native, I do have a wide experience with artisanal coffee. I'm one of those snobs who buys whole bean  coffee monthly from a local coffee roaster. ????) Anyway, go enjoy some outstanding coffee at an exceptional business!

Ludlow’s Coffee was such a cute spot near the Lincoln Park zoo to grab coffee! I really enjoyed the maple latte with oat milk. The interior was adorable, and I really appreciated that some of the profits from merchandise purchases are donated to non-profits. The interior of the shop was very clean, had fun decor (who doesn’t love a picture of a cute puppy?) and the service was kind and quick.

Was very happy with the ☕ brew here, especially after hitting a few Starbucks franchises the last week or so. Great ambiance indoors, and with a twist!

I read with every sale of Ludlow Charlingtons' branded merchandise, they donate 50% of the profits to our partner, Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.

Great local coffee shop, stopped in with my wife just looking for something new in the neighborhood that we are new to, and we were not disappointed. We each had the chocolate croissant, and it is pretty fun that they serve the danishes and pastries in dog bowls is awesome!
The ambiance is awesome, and the dog inspired artwork on the walls are amazing!

Solid place, been here a few times. The decor and dogs are a nice touch. Almond pastry was delicious, chai latte a bit spicy, black coffee was fine. A bit pricey, but good local spot with a good mission.

Made a point to come here after hearing about their mission and loved it. Well decorated and they’ve really maximized the small space. Friendly staff and great coffee - plus I saw that if you get a pastry for here it comes in a cute little themed dog bowl. Will definitely be back!

This is the locally owned coffee house Lincoln Park has been waiting for! Great coffee, a welcoming staff and such unique dog themed speakeasy atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax before or after a trip to the zoo or Lake ☕️

Love this new local coffee shop! I'm always on the lookout for a good independently owned coffee shop and this is at the top of my list. The iced coffee is amazing - the flavor has a slight sweetness to it which sets it apart from a lot of other brews I've had. The inside is small but has plenty of seating, so a great place to get studying/work done (plus free - reliable - wifi). The icing on the cake is that their mission is to support local shelter dogs - 50% of sales on their merchandise goes to Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. The dog-themed decor is also adorable. Highly recommend!!!

This place is such an amazing addition to the Lincoln Park neighborhood! It's family owned and dog themed with a lovely owners and a very friendly barista. My macchiato was delicious as was the blueberry danish. And I absolutely love their mission to help the dogs from Chicago shelters by donating 50% of profits from the sold merchandise to Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.
