How does a weekday cafe like this not have standard iced coffee? Instead she tried to charge me $6 without saying anything for a nitro cold brew, and kind of rolled her eyes when I decided to get something else. Didn't try the food, but a cafe that has cold service and doesn't even have iced coffee isn't one I'm a fan of

The worst coffee i have ever had. The mocha was straight syrup and the plain cold brew was undrinkable. The breakfast sandwiches were very bland. Its safe to say that I'll never come here again.

They got what you need. Great fresh bagels and creamy oat milk lattes that still have strong espresso in em. Customer service so good it’ll make you forget you’re actually in Chicago

Great coffee and the honor bar is very convenient and quick! Excellent service and employees were friendly and helpful. Great corner coffee place with bright sunlight from large windows and seating indoors and out. I ordered the avocado toast with egg. The toast is no joke- hefty and generous portion for the price. Will definitely be back.

Love M2 cafe. I used to visit all the time when I worked upstairs. They have excellent coffee (dark matter) and great sandwiches and snacks. Highly recommend.

Super trendy place. A little pricey but well worth it. They have such a good variety to choose from. Love their breakfast sandwich options and their lunch choices are Devine! Love this place .

Amazing sandwiches and coffee. A nice place to sit and get work done and have a great lunch or have lunch with a friend in a comfortable and inviting setting. Street parking. Reasonably priced. In greek town and a 5 minute walk from UIC campus.

This is a great place to work and yea the food is very tasty, however the prices are a bit high. Two sandwiches here was just shy of $20 and it is just the sandwich, no chips, no drink, just the sandwich. With that being said, they are tasty and a decent size. The coffee is bold and flavorful and they have a variety of flavors to select from.The WiFi is strong and while here it never got too busy or loud. There is street parking available and there is a Divvy station right down the street plus the public trans is great in this area.

I went out for lunch with my friend and her baby. I liked the ambiance, it was cozy and warm. All the staffs are so kind they gave smile all the time. We ordered chiken chipotle sandwich, chicken venezia sandwich, croissant, soup and chi latte. These were decent food. I liked the chipotle sandwich. We thought we will get plain croissan but it was egg croissant sandwich with Abocado.Even better. We enjoyed food and cozy atmosphere. one asian staff gave a small donut for my friend's baby.
Staffs were so sweet and kind. I love this cafe. If I visit chicago again, I am sure I will visit here again.

Friendly staff, a diverse menu, high quality ingredients, and speedy service make M 2 one of the better cafes within the West Loop. I always enjoy coming here, and although I don't drink coffee, there are many other interesting offerings, from hot chocolate to a turkey club sandwich. I recommend the chorizo burrito and the croissant sandwich and look forward to returning.

Since new ownership, the service and food quality are not good. I used to love this place and they do serve Dark Matter coffee. However, don’t expect to get in and out of there in less then 10 minutes.
They are also constantly out of iced coffee and try to substitute “iced americanos” without notifying customers. I saw an employee making and dumping espresso into their tank for iced coffee. It’s iced COFFEE.

Love this place. It's kind of pricey (but you're obviously paying for that West Loop real estate). They use quality ingredients, the sandwiches are delicious, and the smoothies are the best in the neighborhood. I love the M2 Turkey sandwich (extra truffle mayo and banana peppers) and the strawberry lemonade smoothie.

Decent space, very friendly crew, disappointing latte. Milk was not steamed properly, milk to espresso ratio off, and the espresso had a burnt taste. Lot of work ahead for this place.
If you love your lattes, head over to Groundswell instead.

This place is awesome. It's hard to find at first because it's located inside a building, but its a gem. The people that work there are amazing, the baked stuff is good, and I think I get a coffee every morning from there. The best part is that they are partnered with Ritual, so I can order my bagel and coffee while' I'm still on the train, and not even be late to work. Hell yes!

I love this spot. Go there at least once every other week. Bagel sandwiches and Croissandwich are amazing. Burrito is light and filling. So are their variation of coffees. Told people at work about them, and now they can't stop going. I recommend starting off with french toast bagel with bacon and a mocha or Americano.
