Just found out this place open back up to me they are famous for their tamales call on Monday only to find out they only make them Saturday and Sunday Saturday they didn’t have any chicken Sunday I bought two dozen pacifically stated I want green sauce which they never used to do it was either chicken or pork get home in mind so I don’t stay close only to find out I had red mixed with the green very dissatisfied tamales were mushy like

I had the chicken tacos. It was pulled or shredded white chicken no seasoning. It was pulled on the shell in chunks which made it a bit difficult to bite through. Place looks great and the customer service was very good so I will return and try something different

The food was ok. Taco bell would've been better. One time's enough for me. I had three tacos, my son had 3 and the wife had two and three drinks. Total was $37and some change. Of course I tip. It just wasn't worth it. The steak tacos had no taste. The cheese made it ok. The beef taco was great tho. My wife didn't like any of hers. My son suggested we go there, then said "they usually taste better". Well I don't wanna try again.

Good Mexican food, i have known this place for years. It has been renovated, service was kind of slow but it was a new waitress.

Was excited that it reopened. I went to get crispy tacos for my birthday lunch for my family and was very disappointed. The cheese was spoiled and after paying over$70 for tacos, I wasn’t too happy!!!

The real deal - had the weekend special carnitas & eggs with beans and guac, al pastor torta, carna aside burrito, and a mess of tacos. Place was busy at 8:30 Sunday morning with fresh bowls of menudo or posole. Take out was super easy. Great little road trip stop. Give 'em you business - you will not be disappointed!

This is a Family owner restaurant.Taco Mex is absolutely delicious. Authentic Mexican food. Highly recommended by a Mexican person. Menudo is the best in Chicago and everything here is tasty and yummy.
