I wish I could give Nohea Cafe and it's terrible management no stars
Owner Michelle and her mother both run this small cafe and I'd hate to work for those women full time!
The way I heard Michelle's mother speak down to her deli employees was embarrassing and dehumanizing. That woman does not care how loud or rude she is to get her point across. And they have the audacity to decorate the place with religious Christian Bible verses.. way to show how kind Christian people are huh ladies? Who in their right mind would want to work for people like that? That's why they're always posting ads on Craigslist for new staff. New flash ladies; your staff isn't the problem.. it's you. I'm surprised COVID didn't permanently shut them down. These entitled white women need to get another hobby.
Sincerely, A former employee you hired off Craigslist back in early 2019 and let go in less than two weeks.
I ordered two sandwiches in this establishment by the phone, when I went to pick up the order the cashier made me an extra charge for the credit card payment, when I asked her why I was not notified before of this extra charge, she replied, “for the other “ ……..although it is legal for some establishments to make an extra charge for the use of a credit card, IT IS ILLEGAL NOT TO NOTIFY THE CUSTOMER of that extra charge through an announcement or verbal information before making a charge

Best cold sandwich in Chicago.. I'm convinced. I live right next to Nohea Cafe so I often order ahead for pickup for lunch and I've never been unhappy with my order. I just wish they were open on weekends!!

I order their catering regularly for customer and group meetings and they are always prompt and accurate in their delivery. I also stop by ~1 per month to grab a sandwich or salad for lunch. They always have high quality food and are quick to serve it.
I messed up one catering order for a meeting with a customer, accidentally scheduled it for the wrong day. They were able to turn something around for me the same day ensuring we had lunch at our meeting. They even called me again after finding another salad that would make the new order just a little closer to my original one.
They are not only a West Loop staple, but go above and beyond to give a great experience.

Best Sandwiches & Paninis in the West Loop! Great service too. Wish they had longer hours, but great for lunch!

This place reminds me so much of a place in Philly that I love a lot (Ray's Cafe and Teahouse if anyone is going). It has the mismatched, cozy, homey, slightly worn feel AND it has siphon coffee (although I did not get to try).
We got the pandan coconut coffee which the man at the counter took great care in making (it was quite sweet, as pandan flavors tend to be, but so good), as well as the pandan egg waffle which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and piping hot. We watched the sun go down and the sky soften while nibbling/sipping on our snacks.

I ordered lunch for 2 and a doughnut. One of the items was wrong, and another was not included. It was more painful than a typical missed item because it was relatively expensive. Determined to get justice, I went back (really wanted that apple fritter). They were kind and apologetic and completely took care of me. The food was tasty and I appreciate how they handled my return visit. Excellent service! Wish they had better hours.

They are sweet and kind and very inspirational here. I got a green leaf iced tea and it was delicious. They have a cute cafe ora.

Went here for a quick breakfast one weekday morning. I ordered decaf coffee and croissant sandwich with scrambled eggs and cheddar cheese.
The food and coffee were good. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered at the counter and they brought the food to me. They also have Boars Head deli meat which is somewhat hard to find around the city, so I'm sure their sandwiches are good.

Really great service and a beautiful location. Drinks are good and finished quickly and the sandwiches are delicious and make it out in time for a quick lunch if you have to be somewhere. It's nice that they have a patio area that they allow dogs on.

Really good quality of food and coffee. Sandwiches are pretty price though in my opinion worth the money. In addition to this whole interior is really nice and clean. Though one girl from the stuff was a bit rude but other people were kind. Over all worth waiting for your food.

Currently having one of the most delicious sandwiches ever. The warm, soft bread and fresh chicken slices make for and incredible lunch. Definitely recommend to stop in for a meal. With regards to working out of here, there aren't very many outlets to make sure your devices are charged. Other than that, fantastic place.

I love this place. They have a variety of sandwiches and wraps that are wonderful. You cannot go wrong with the BLT club wrap (sub for the spinach wrap).
The avacado and the bacon make this a must have. I usually grab this with some paleo chocolate chip cookies and call it a meal.
