Great thin crust pizza. Orders to go and picked up. Fed me for 3 meals and I swear each day it tasted better. Didn't realize they had beer to go. Was gonna buy a can but they hooked me up for free. Great pizza and great service

Great place for thin crust tavern style pizza. Good beer selection. Crust was like a cracker. Avoid the salads though.

One of our favorite thin crust pizzas! First time dining-in and sat on the cute patio with family and friends. The kids loved it too!

Pat’s is absolutely outstanding in flavor and in customer service. A favorite of everyone in our house (and those who visit), and always a very pleasant experience when picking up or getting delivery. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!

Some of the best Italian food I've ever had - and my MIL is from Italy! So ice had quality, authentic Italian. This place was next level. Try the calamari, and anything with their marinara is going to be delectable.

This little mom and pop pizzeria is my most cherished Chicago memory relating to food. If you are looking for a traditional windy city, deep dish experience this is not the place for you. However, if you want old-fashioned New York-style pie you needn’t look any further. The staff is incredibly friendly (family-owned and operated), cute Italian-American atmosphere if you’re dining in, and then there is the pizza. When I first moved to Chicago 10 years ago, I ordered Pats carry out and eventually did at least 100 more times over the years (yes, seriously). Hearty ingredients, fresh meats, delicious crust, savory cheese..I have sampled some of the city’s very best from South Loop to Rogers Park and it just doesn’t get any better than this! Thank you, Pat’s!

This place honestly has some of the best tavern style pizzas around. It’s just unfortunate because their service is not as great. The past few times I’ve ordered from them, the delivery has been more than an hour late. Then when I call to check on the status, they’re always quick to make excuses and place the blame on their delivery drivers instead of just apologizing for the bad service. But they do try to make up for it by making sure the pizza is warm even if they have to remake it.

They say on their awning that they have the best thin crust pizza in Chicago, and guess what. It's true. Flavorful, fresh and the perfect little crunch to the crust. If you want to give out-of-towners a genuine Chicago pizza experience, take them to Pat's. Their pizza and their people are the best!

My wife and I give this place 4.5 stars.

Pizza is a this crust…fairly close to to classic Chicago Tavern style. They offer lots of toppings to pick from. Ingredients are very fresh…I have never had such fresh olives on a pizza. Only knocks are the crust was a tad burnt in places and tomato sauce was not consistent across the pizza.

Wow... Pats lived up to the hype! The crust was fantastic! It is in the running for the best thing crust in Chicago for me. The wings were good as well.

Pat's lives up to the hype. The crust is unreal. So light and crispy but it holds all the cheese toppings well. Amazing sausage. Most of all, their customer service is exceptional. Genuinely nice people.

Best pizza I've tried in my whole life! It's so delicious that makes me delight every bite. Also, I got full with half of a medium Pat's special thin crust, it's so well done. A must try if you're visiting Chicago. I'm really grateful I tried it.

We had heard a lot about the thin crust pizza in Chicago. After a lot of research, we selected Pat's Pizzeria and Restaurante as the place we wanted to try out thin crust. This place is in the suburbs and was the first place where we didn't encounter any tourists (except for us). It was very different experience. It's a nice cozy place with a good ambience. We customized a small pizza with some veggie toppings. The pizza was fantastic! The service was quick and the staff was brilliant! They were super friendly! I would highly recommend this place for someone who wants to try out a thin crust pizza!

Owned and operated by the same family since 1950 it seems fair to call Pat’s Pizza and Ristorante an “institution,” and although both Chicago’s Pizza scene as well as the world itself have undergone unprecedented change over the last few years the Pizzeria at 2679 North Lincoln Avenue continues to focus on the fundamentals that have gotten them to where they are today.

Open seven days a week in Lincoln Park, just a few blocks from the Diversey Brown or Purple line, it is upon entry to the storied space lined in black & white photos that guests are greeted, socially distanced seating demarcated with all staff appropriately donning PPE.

Known for Tavern Style Pizza, or “Thin Crust” as Pat’s lists it on the menu, diners are additionally offered an array of Appetizers and Entrees plus three sizes of “Chicago Pan Pizza,” IE Deep Dish at about half the price of Lou’s, Uno or Gino’s.

Opting for the best of both worlds, the Pan taking longer to prepare and thus allowing adequate focus on each style hot from the oven, locals say one has not tasted a true “Cracker Crust” until they visit Pat’s, and far be it for this author to argue as the crisp base crackles to the tooth with pockets of air giving way to herbaceous Sauce, melted Cheese and crumbly but moist Fennel Sausage.

Apparently not the Restaurant’s original location, though the same oven is still responsible for each and every Pie, Pat’s deep dish comes extricated from its pan unlike other Chicago staples, and with Cheese better melted plus Crust richer with Butter the overall effect is a significant upgrade on more famous places without the tourists or lines.

This is an excellent local place. I love going here. The food is amazing and it has an amazing story. The pizza is delicious and incredibly well cooked. The dough is soft, light and airy. The sauce is well cooked and well made with fresh ingredients. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about the customers and their experience. I also had the house salad and it was so good, especially with the dressing. The pasta was also well cooked. It was flavorful and vibrant. Good local place and would definitely recommend.
