One of the best "smash" burgers ever! Outstanding! Hotdogs are simple but good fresh cut fries. Really good spot, definitely a must visit!

Honestly, I wasn't very impressed and I expected more based on the hype. The burger was a bit dry and I got, like, the stem end of the lettuce, which is chunky and flavorless. I like that they cut and fry the fries right there, but when I got them they were kind of soggy. The shake was pretty awful, too. The price was cheap compared to other places, but I don't think it made up for the poor quality. I was excited to come here but I probably won't return.

One of the best places to get a burger and cheese fries in Chicago! The staff are very casual and friendly, and prepare your burgers, fries, and hot dogs very quickly. Service is great and their food is consistently delicious. Really hits the spot after a long day of work or a work out - highly recommend their double cheeseburgers!

CASH ONLY. Went with my husband and he ordered the RHR double cheeseburger and I ordered the RHR single cheeseburger. Both burgers came with fries and was only 14.25. This isn’t some fancy place with wagyu beef they just make a solid cheeseburger. The staff are super friendly. We will be coming back especially as other burger places can’t seem to keep their quality consistent. Next time I’m trying the shrimp!

what an awesome burger! it is fairly small as is the menu but damn was it delicious with a perfect combination of toppings and it was super juicy. they are really slow behind the counter though.
thank God these guys are open late

Maybe tonight(11pm) is a off night however the quality of food, like the burgers, plus service & attention to details went down.
I noticed two new guys tonight. The meat was chewy & cheap. After ordering shrimp, the cashier guy told me I did not order it.
I asked for my fries not to be fried hard, yet they still served them hard. ????????

Soooo good! Fries are cut to order, this place knows how to make a burger. A coworker bought me one for lunch and I was hooked! Also the woman taking my order was wearing a facemask with Selena on it! This whole place is awesome! I'll have to try the shake next time. Highly recommended.

Firstly, it’s ludicrous to compare RHR burgers to The Loyalist and Au Cheval burgers. That’s like comparing Seafood City filipino food court food to Kasama’s $300+ evening price-fixe menu!!! Having said that, for $7, a RHR double-cheeseburger and fries is spot-on. The flavors are all there. Juicy, char and gooey cheese with that special sauce, a dupe of In-N-Out burger is close but it is unique in its own way. The fries was hot and crunchy but not too greasy, unlike other similar late night fast food “greasy spoons”. Its a simple place (tables, chairs and 4 walls), working class establishment and cash only but I challenge anyone to find a better double cheese at this price-point in the city limits.

Got the double cheeseburger and fries. Asked them to leave off the onion, and that was no problem for them. Very nice staff behind the counter. The burger had a great combo of flavors with the cheese, sauce, lettuce and tomato. A reviewer here wrote a tip about taking the bottom bun off for a couple minutes before eating, and that was a really great tip! The burger is super hot when you get it, so leaving the bottom bun off for a minute or two prevents it from getting soggy.
The burger was def 5 stars. I took off two stars cause of the fries - so heavily salted that it was like crunching sand in my mouth, and actually burned the roof of my mouth there was so much salt on the fries. I couldn’t eat the fries, which seemed like they would have been very good otherwise.

It's my first time eating from Redhot Ranch and I have to admit I was blown away. The burger is impressive and in my opinion competes with Five Guys as the best burger I've ever had, it's that good. Simple but freaking awesome. It was juicy and tasty. The fries were excellent as well and the hotdog was great too! I'm very impressed and I highly recommend this awesome local joint!

Probably the best smash burger in the city. It goes well with the hand cut fries. The fried shrimp was very good too. Please note that this place is CA$H ONLY.
