We dined inside and our table was dirty So I asked the waitress if there is anything I can wipe the table with she asked me what do I prefer I said anything which I expected her to clean it since it’s not my job however she was nice so I just took the paper towels and wiped it myself. The pizza comes and there is one hair on it I looked at the guy who makes the pizza behind the counter he’s not wearing a mask nor anything on his hair or beard but the rest of the workers were wearing a mask!!! They gave us a discount and all but the food was bad i regret the 50 minutes drive tbh!
Absolutely love Renaldi's pizza. Any time we're visiting in the north suburbs we make a point to get pizza here. Their gluten free crust tastes made from scratch it's so good. The place itself doesn't appear to have been updated in decades, but that's part of the charm.

So disappointing. So over priced. So bland. So never coming back. So not worth it.
We ordered the carbonara pasta and cheese pizza. They don't know how to make either, I don't know what else to order at a pizza place then. Ehh I'd skip.

I use to order here frequently. I loveeee the vodka pasta. But the last couple months, when I try to make a to-go order, they tell me the kitchen is closed for entrees. I have called on different days, different times. Today I called and again, kitchen closed. I asked the lady who answered the phone out of curiosity, do they still serve pasta? She said yes. And nothing more. I said, I’ve called a few times on different day and times and I can’t order pasta, so just was curious. She responded with attitude, everyone needs a day off. I didn’t engage. But it was just rude. I won’t be ordering here again. I work in the industry and there’s just ways to respond to customers, and that wasn’t it. I easily spend a lot of money on good food, but I won’t be doing so there anymore.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I Hate that I have to give even 1 star. I came in for a spaghetti & meatball meal with garlic bread & a drink. My Server " Kevin M" only came to my table 1 time to bring the food. He Never came back to check on me & how my meal was & I waited & waited & waited for a drink refill. I noticed the other server working the other tables kept going back & checking on her tables. I noticed my server " Kevin M" would go stand up front talking with the pizza maker. I'm Very disappointed & do Not recommend this place to eat or drink at. There are A lot of other places to eat in the area, I obviously chose the wrong place. So ???? ???? ???? sad.

Dreaming of pizza? I love coming here for deep dish pizzas. They're heavy duty and delicious. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. You can taste how freshly the tomatoe sauce is. Staff is always friendly. Great place to stop and just grab a slice from as well.

A favorite neighborhood haunt with NYC slices and affordable drinks. Pizza is always hot and fresh (and extra cheesy). Sometimes the kitchen is limited—but just go with the flow. It’s part of the charm and always makes for a good night.

Super busy place, one server and one younger guy trying to help. Staff was very friendly and the pizza was worth the wait! Good music and comfy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

My favorite pizza in Chicago. My family and I have been coming here for many years. Our favorite dishes are just a simple pepperoni pizza and then the linguine with clam sauce. Lots and lots of memories here. Every time I visit Chicago I make it a point to come here.

Wow! Love this place! It is the reason I gained 10 pounds living in Chicago!!! My reined Greg should have never shown me this place! I’m a New Yorker and fussy about my pizza! You will not be disappointed!

My first pizza had all the toppings on the side of the box, the taste was excellent. I called in and another was sent to me. I spent 47.00, but it was worth it. I will be returning again for pizza.

(Just a little tip.) I'm 58 and have enjoyed Renaldi's pizza for decades. Something changed VERY recently. Crust is more of a "cracker crust", toppings are sparse, and cheese is NOT the same. So sad. Another good spot bit the dust.

The sampler plate was surprisingly good. One would not think the sampler could be your first choice at this place!! This comes with 4 different sauce and all are great!

My go-to neighborhood spot for pizza by the slice. Still less than $5 for a meal-sized delicious slice. This place has really made me love Sicilian pizza. I've also dined in and enjoyed the Chicago deep dish here. This place just doesn't miss. Highly recommend it!

I happened to be near Clark & Diversey today and wanted to get a quick bite so decided to get a slice at Renaldi’s Pizza near Diversey & Broadway. It's probably been over 20 years since I’ve been there. I ordered a slice of sausage and cheese pizza and a fountain drink. The young lady that took my order mistakenly put cheese on the order form not sausage and cheese. In a few minutes, a young man was behind the counter and told me my slice was ready but it was a cheese slice. I told the young man I ordered a slice of sausage, not cheese, he took the cheese slice and threw it in the garbage can.
I couldn’t believe it. He then put a slice of sausage in the oven and in just a few minutes it was ready. A slice is big enough to take the edge off. The pizza was good just as I remember. The drawback IMHO is you never know how long the slices have been sitting under the heat lamp. The fountain drink was a little too syrupy, with not much carbonation. It has a nice patio just in time for the nice weather.

It doesn’t taste as good when you get their pizza take out, but their dine in pepperoni pizza is the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had. It reminds me of what I imagined ninja turtles pizza to taste like as a kid.

I came here for my college graduation celebration. The service was good, but there was only one server, most likely due to COVID. We ordered two appetizers, baked clams and calamari, which were both pretty good. The entrees were subpar in my opinion. I ordered chicken parmigiana which came with a side of penne pasta with some marinara sauce. It didn't come prepared the way I am used to.
It was ok, but it could've been better flavor wise. I am not sure about coming back here. Maybe because of the pandemic, the food is not as good anymore. Maybe Renaldi's is more known for their pizza than pasta dishes. I may give this place another chance, but the food was not that good for the price.

Good pizza and nice staff! The only problem is that it is expensive - I think $28 for a medium size sausage pizza is a too much. The place, tables and chairs look a little bit old, and most of their customers do not order the whole pizza and usually buy to-go slices.
