Came here for a quick lunch on weekdays. The fried chicken was good. The miso soup was standard. I ordered the lunch set with two rolls, and it’s just okay. However, I ordered delivery from them before, and their other rolls in general were pretty good. Overall, it’s a standard sushi/roll place that you can come for a quick lunch in the loop.

Very friendly staff! AMAZING SUSHI! the quality and flavor of the food is phenomenal! The aesthetic of the inside of the place is also very cozy. And for a sushi spot in the city 1 block away from the bean, they are very generous with their pricing and portion sizes!

Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted fresh. Ordered 4 rolls (rainbow, Alaskan, jalapeño, and avocado), edamame, and a seaweed salad. Everything was great! Thank you!

Sushi was quite good which was a surprise. When I arrived, I briefly considered going somewhere else as the ambience was quite different than photos in the Map where it was sort of fast food tone with heavy take out traffic. But, I decided to stay and try. It was a bit late having just arrived in Chicago. As mentioned, the fish was quite tasty and seemed good quality. Miso and the dressing on the garden salad were also good. One detracting factor is the portion of rice. It was a bit too much -- about half would have been good. In any case, I went back for lunch also. More than 4 stars but 5 would be too much when all factors are considered.

I first came here 2 years ago and came back again recently. It is just as good as I remember. The price is good, the food is superb, and the staff is patient. Always a treat when downtown. They deserve every bit of praise for the meals.

Amazing sushi, sashimi and gyoza. One of the best asian restaurants in Chicago and the location is great with impeccable service. Prices are very good and i would definitely recommend this place to other food lovers

This place is a GEM. I have never leave reviews, but I was surprised this place didn’t have closer to 5 stars. The fish is incredibly fresh and the rolls are such good quality. They give you a lot of fish in each roll and the prices are really reasonable!! I had the best salmon roll I have ever had here and I have been to many sushi restaurants (even been to Japan). We have been back to this place at least 5 times since discovering it a few months ago and we will keep going back. Definitely try it out!

Ordered a Philly roll as a side & what they gave me was 95% cream cheese. Like an absurd amount of cream cheese. It would have been funny if the other rolls had made up for it, but they were small portions of fish with large chunks of filling, too. One piece just had a fried shrimp tail in it & nothing else. No shrimp attached.

I ordered this set from Uber which costs 82$. I have to say it’s not worth it at all. The sashimi was not fresh. The portions are small, the worst size I could imagine. They did not cut the tuna right which made it feel like I was chewing rubber. I don’t even know why they have confidence to overcharge for everything here. We also ordered the skewer combo which is also disappointing. Very bad Japanese restaurant. Please avoid this restaurant unless you want to waste your money. ????????

The food was delicious ????. I gave this restaurant 1000 stars ⭐️ the BEST! The ambience the people in the restaurant really nice too ???????? This is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Even the portions are just right. I always struggle with the oversized portions in restaurants here. An the te green mochi dessert the best ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ My mouth went to the heaven in this place thanks ???? I wish you luck for your business

My wife and I got the Chirashi Don and Sake Don. It was some of the best salmon and variety of fish we've had, and we've been to both coasts to get sushi multiple times so that's saying something! House salad was great value. Alaskan roll had great fish to rice ratio. Overall really impressed and will definitely make this our sushi spot when we're in the area before a trip to the CSO.

Starving for sushi! This place was in the right spot at the right time and I'm glad I found it. Stopped in after a walk thru Maggie Daley Park. I wanted something quick & light n sushi is perfect for that!
I had a beef Negimaki and an Angel Roll. Both were delicious in every bite. Wait staff is extremely nice and attentive. Bathrooms were clean and inviting. Great place all around!

My family and I stopped needed to grab a bite without waiting too long to get a table, luckily we came across Ryo Sushi! The service was very good (our waitress was very kind). The tables were very clean.
Now about the food, it was some of THE BEST sushi we've tried! We ordered the gyoza, the spicy scallop roll, the angel roll, the rainbow roll, and the mango california roll. Everything was delicious, and fresh! I especially LOVED the mango california roll!!! If you are craving sushi, want to try a new place to eat, or need to grab a quick bite you should definitely eat here! Ryo Sushi will be one of my family's go to place for sushi! ????????
