Delicious sushi, wide variety of choices of rolls. Everything we tasted was great. Prices were average for sushi, being BYOB always helps. Was dimly lit and quiet, a good date spot.
Having this in my neighborhood is awesome! I don't have to go far at all for sushi ???? And it's BYOB ????

First time coming. Will eat here again! Everything I tried was delicious and the gentleman and lady that attended us was so nice! Definitely worth your time! Quiet and peaceful location!

I don’t like leaving a bad review but I also don’t want people to spend money at a place that is low quality. This was my first time ordering and I did carry out. I ordered multiple rolls, a few pieces of nigiri and an order of mochi. All of them were inedible to me. The rice was incredibly cold. I honestly wondered if the sushi had been frozen previously. Like the texture you would expect from grocery store sushi that had been sitting for a few days. My order was $70 and I just threw it all away. The staff were very kind when I went in which I appreciate but the low quality was honestly shocking to me. I should’ve ordered from Coast on Damen.

The chef told us what was fresh and delicious and he was spot on! Cozy atmosphere as well as top notch rolls and nigiri. The "salmon dips" was an unexpected treat!

My favorite sushi spot for about 10 years now. Best part the quality has never changed, prices are reasonable, I have celebrated bdays and anniversaries there, truly feel like family.
Everyone that we have brought with to dine also have made it their go-to Sushi spot.

My partner and I have been enjoying S@kura for the past five years as our neighborhood go-to spot. They have excellent sushi at a great price, the ambiance is casual and quirky and they always have really nice chill music playing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great meal and an authentic atmosphere!

we walked in we didn't get a great vibe from the place. It was really hot and humid which is an interesting combination considering it's a sushi place.
I'm sure they're really well meaning and have a good intentions.
However after we sat down we made the decision to go somewhere else to eat.
There is only two other people in the restaurant.

Sushi is great fresh and good tasting but the wait for your drinks or appetizers—not worth it!!! 10 minutes for our drinks even a green tea ice tea and water. I give it a two because of How this restaurant is organized and run. Don’t go there if you’re used to the Japanese fun experience of sitting at the bar and ordering from the sushi chef or either just sitting at the bar. You can’t talk or order from the sushi chefs!!!! This restaurant doesn’t understand how to serve people. The person that takes your order it’s not the same person that brings your order. If they get busy it’s chaos. My order went to a different table because they just dropped it off without any questions so the people that sat at the table ate it without any questions I had to actually walk to the front of the restaurant get up off of my seat —do that and say where is my salad she was busy taking orders that were coming in the door why wasn’t the manager doing that lazy person -pre-Madonna.
There’s a manager there that just walks around and asks people how they’re doing but he’s not helping the servers—-/that’s a pre-Madonna get rid of that person and redo the whole situation. Chef Ramsey
would’ve Had a real problem with the operation
If someone else wasn’t going to be paying for my dinner I would’ve walked out 6:55 minutes past my order of a glass of wine and a glass of green tea iced tea that never got delivered until 10 minutes later

So this was a difficult review to leave because my fiancé and I were truly torn when we left. I’ll start with the fact that we enjoyed our meal. The food was amazing, the waiter was very relaxed and knew to give us space but was also attentive. The rolls were delicious and the wait time was minimal. However, with almost nobody else in the restaurant, we were finishing off our drinks before heading out, and all we could hear was the (what we assume) cook talking about pushing us out and we aren’t making them anymore money. The waiter who was very cool told him to be quiet and be nice, but the cook just kept going at it. Trust me, we got up and left. However, what a crappy way to wrap up what was otherwise a fantastic meal. We both agreed we would want the food again but we wouldn’t want to deal with that guy, and living 40 minutes away it was unlikely we’d would be ordering take out. It’s unfortunate but customers typically remember the beginning and end of their experience the most vividly, and this was definitely an negative end to our experience.

This is such a good place. It is BYOB. And the rolls are amazing. I had the Sexy Chic roll and the Nightelf roll both amazing. My SO had the Unagi Don and it was really good also. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.????????

I was in the mood for some good sushi and the sushi bar across the street from me was completely out of the question (crazy owner who drives away customers check out the reviews).
This seemed like a good enough place to try out after I looked at the reviews. Ordered a couple Rainbow Rolls, octopus, salmon, etc. Food came rather quick. It was good, but most of it tasted like it had been in a refrigerator for a rather long time making them either chewy or tough. The sauce the threw in was a bonus and helped give me a better experience. At the time I ordered delivery it didn't state that they already threw in some sauce with the order so I ended up ordering extra sauce for no reason then dumped it all after I was done.
You get about 2-3 pieces of meat per order so it might seem pricey, but its good nonetheless. If I can't find a better sushi place this'll be my go to spot.

S@kura is right in my neighborhood and one of my favorite places to grab a quick sushi bite. My favorite roll there is the Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll and I love the Godzilla. They have great special and great coupons after spending $25 and about $30. You can get a free rolls or free appetizers. They are very fast with getting the order out fast when you order to pick up!
