If you’re in a hurry, don’t go. The restaurant had about three customers in it when we ordered, and it took over 10 minutes to get a regular sized fry and three chicken strips. No drinks. No burger. Just stuff that takes a good two minutes to throw in grease. And the fries weren’t hot. I’m giving two stars as opposed to one because the staff was semi-friendly.

I have to say I did not had their burger. I was craving fried food and Smashburger delivered! I got the Onion stack, brussels sprout and sweet potato fries.
They were all fried to perfect crispness. The dipping sauce is good and pretty standard.
The service level was really unexpected for a fast-food chain; appreciated their check-ins on customers and constant cleaning.
Would definitely go back to try more food.

Chicken tenders and fries were very good, a bit too oily though. Friendly cashier but very slow service. It is very good to see the employees chatting with one another and having a good time but they were just slow. It might be wise to hire more people. Also, I like that you have the option to tip the workers

They really do smash the burgers! When visiting this location, schedule an order online before lunch for easy & fast pick-up. With office buildings and large conference hotels nearby, this place is busy at noon hour. The signature fries are tasty, but I did not enjoy the new "spicy" tenders...far too oily. Good service!

Absolutely the worst place to go in town. The employees were not concerned with the 10+ people waiting over 30 minutes in line just to order when there is nobody in front of me. Nobody greeted us or even acknowledged us the entire time we were waiting. The employees do not change their gloves, even after using the broom. The burger was okay I guess but they were out of bacon so that was a big disappointment. Employees are more concerned with hanging out in the back and talking rather than doing the bare minimum. The cashier made me super uncomfortable by telling me how beautiful I am. Definitely do NOT recommend this place at all. Needs an entire new staff, cleanliness makeover and just better upkeep in general. Most tables were dirty with trash still on them from previous guests. My burger sat on the counter for over 7 minutes wrapped and ready to go before they did anything with it so it was cold when I ate it.

My good friend and I decided to visit Smashburger for lunch ???? before going to see the Chicago Ducky Derby 2022 ????!! It was my first visit here so I tried the Classic Smash with Single patty and small Smash fries. It honestly blew my mind as everything tasted fresh and savory! I will definitely be returning to try different menus. The staff members were really nice too, truly made our dining experience better. Do try Smashburger if you are already familiar with Five Guys and Shake Shack burgers and want to try something different ????

Cheerful, eager staff, and the best Colorado (the only Colorado) burgar I've had in LIFE! My son said the bacon and cheese was pretty fab too! :)

We tried Smashburgers Friday when we arrived to Chicago for the first time and the food was so great we returned Monday on our way out of Chicago! I loved the brussel sprouts and the fries. My husband loved the Brisket Bacon burger and I loved the Smash Bacon Burger. Both burgers had plenty of meat for a single burger and I cant imagine needing a double burger. The restuarant was clean and that includes the restrooms. The employees were nice. The location is very convenient at the corner of Michigan and Wacker.

This place is fantastic! We visited two days in a row! Try the deep fried Brussels Sprouts. You know it's going to be good when the bag is soaked with grease before you get out the door.????

Juicy burger with good portion. I do think the bun could be warmer, but it's good enough. My friend says the shake is good too.
The fries is good too. I got them hot and crispy.
The fountain machine is not that good. I got water from the lemonade tab. And there is no tea option.

Sorry, but my honest opinion, not my fav burger joint. I mean it’s ok, but compared to others niche burger joints, this one just doesn’t hit the spot.
Something with the flavor just didn’t do it for me.
Try if you wish, perhaps you’ll enjoy it more than I did.

This was a Yelp event, but I really enjoyed the burger I got. It was the Denver burger I think but the amount of toppings and sauce made up for the price that it was. I also got their cinnamon toast churro milkshake and let me tell you, this was amazingly delicious. It was sweet but not too sweet to make you not enjoy it.

Had a really good fast-food style burger here. The quality of ingredients does make up for the elevated price. It’s also significantly cheaper than 5 guys. It’s really going to come down to preference on whether you like the taste of this or other competing restaurants but the quality was there. Not a big fan of the garlicky fries, I’d rather just have a more classic taste. I do recommend skipping the tots and going with the fries though.
The churro milkshake was AWESOME. Highlight of the trip.

Best fast burger burger I have ever had. Restraunt staff also keeps things moving very smoothly. All in all, it was the best fast food I have had. Their veggies such as brusle sprouts were also very good.
