A Truly Amazing authentic Italian Neapolitan pizzeria. The dough is airy and light, the sauce is bright, mozzarella so fresh, and ample quality toppings. We drove 30 min from downtown even though there’s plenty of options down here, Spacca Napoli knocks it out of the park both times we’ve been there. Try the octopus, it was served hot out of the oven and perfectly cooked.
Loved the fresh Neapolitan style pizza here. The dough was thin, crunchy, and with the right amount of chew. Make sure you make reservations or the wait is long for seating during prime time.

Neapolitan brick-oven thin-crust pizza w/excellent crispy blistered dough, excellent service, casual vibe
???? Puttanesca: blended San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, anchovies, black olives, capers, Piennolo tomatoes, parmigiano reggiano
???? Conciato on whole grain dough: smoked mozzarella, squash cream, toasted walnuts, conciato romano. Delicious combination of flavors & vegetarian!

One of my new go to Pizza spots in Chicago is Spacca Napoli. It’s a casual Neapolitan pizzeria located in the Ravenswood neighborhood, and kicking things off with their burrata that is imported all the way Puglia, Italyand you might as well get a Peroni to set the lunch vibes. Moving onto the main attractions was the special Prosucito and Fig pizza with mascarpone and Gorgonzola cream, this was something I didn’t know I needed. Lastly their most popular pizza which is the Diavola with Soppressata.

I’ve been riding my bike past this place forever and always wanted to go. Finally went last weekend. Not sure what took me so long. Awesome pizza. Awesome outdoor dining. Great spritzers and the best service. Can’t wait to go again.

If you are a foodie and love thin crust pizza, you MUST come here! My pizza - Funghi, blended San Marzano tomatoes, fior di latte, basil, mushrooms, and pecorino gran cru. One word - OUTSTANDING! Karen was our server and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, everyone I encountered was personable and friendly. We sat outside and the atmosphere was just right. I met the owner Jonathan when I was taking a photo of some paintings that caught my eye.. it turned out to be paintings that his wife created in Italy. I can't ask for a better experience. I will definitely be back!

I lived in the area my entire life and I just happened to drive by Spacca Napoli and saw how crowded it was. I looked up the reviews. It had really good reviews so I decided to check it out for myself. I called early on a Friday to make reservations but they were completely booked. I asked if they take walk-ins and I was told that they do but there’s a chance that it might take awhile to get seated. I arrived around 6pm with 2 other friends and we were seated immediately. Asked our server, Leonardo, for recommendations. We ordered several items and were very impressed by how good it was. I always want meat on my pizza and even though the 2 meaty pizza that I ordered was good, the enzo was far superior! My friends were so satisfied, one of them ate the entire pan by herself (very rare)!

I’ve read in numerous articles that name Spacca Napoli as one of the finest pizza restaurants in the US. Given such high praise I had to check it out. Let me just say that it was the real deal.
The burrata was the best I’ve had anywhere. It was creamy and full of flavor.
The pizza was delicious—great chew with a nice char. Not only was it delicious, but it was also minimally processed and fresh.
I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and will be dreaming of the food until I can.

Some of the best pizza in Chicago. If you think Chicago is all about deep dish, you’re sorely mistaken. There’s plenty to find in the city, and this Neapolitan style pie is a must. Everything on the menu is elite and the service is tremendous. Definitely a must visit in the Windy City!

THIS PLACE HAS MADE ME LOVE PIZZA AGAIN!
Best pizza that won’t make you feel gross — i usually hate when pizza is greasy and it just makes you feel awful..do you know that feeling?
The crust is amazing ???????????? And it’s chewy and the way everything just blends is amazing. It didn’t feel like I had a food baby after 3 pizzas ????

I really enjoyed eating out here over memorial Day weekend. They have a large outdoor seating area that is well shaded by trees and umbrellas.
The pizza was phenomenal! I got the pistachio Pizza which had their house cheese blend, ground pistachios, basil and delicious ground sausage. Pizza is the only main course offered, but they have a large selection of pizzas and they do offer gluten-free crust.
For me the main event was the appetizers. We got the burrata - cream and mozzarella cheese. I cannot possibly describe how good it was, you just need to try it. Perfectly creamy and salty.
They had a good selection of wines and beers.

Just the Margherita pizza itself might deserve the entire 5 stars! It changed my perspective of pizzas for ever ! I have been reviewing pizza stores and restaurants for long time, even tried the top 5 pizza places in Chicago, but this just changed my view just like that! What a wonderful quality of pizza they offer, the cheese feels so fresh and tasty, it’s brilliant ! The next best thing this place offers is the Burrata. The best I ever had ! Only disappointment for me was the desserts, it’s not that they are bad but they are not as great as the pizza are ! Panna cotta and the ice cream are the “not up to the standard” desserts this place has got to offer ! Do yourself a favor, try this pizza place if you are around !

Really great spot. Had the burrata, margherita and pistachio pizzas, and the peach dessert. Everything was excellent. We walked in without a reservation and we were seated immediately which was awesome.
Food comes out really fast also. Will definitely be back!

Overall the food was good (the leftovers didn't taste as good later one fyi). But our small party enjoyed it. I forgot what my pizza was called but it was the best out of all the others. The pistachio one was okay.
Also, if you have picky kids, this is not a good place to take them. Not a good selection for them.

We visited this fine Italian Restaurant establishment October of 2021. I'm horrible about posting timely reviews (obviously) but this place deserves a huge kudos!!!
Very good experience here! From walking in to leaving we were treated very well. This is one of the things I remember and that matter most. The employees were KIND!!
We were introduced to burrata...now my life is changed. Very nice.
We ordered pizza and purchased some of their homemade bread to go along with a nice bottle of Moscato.
LOVE that this place is true to it's origins...family owned.
Highly recommend!!!

After making several plans, we finally ended up here for a graduation celebration on a weekday evening. We made a reservation for 10 people and the staff took care of us without any problem.
We ordered two bottles of wine ( one sparkling white and one red). We ordered 2 sets of the aracini for appetizers followed by around 8 pizzas. We also had one each of all the desserts and 3 extra tiramisu. Over all, the food was faultless and the service was quick and attentive. And the pizza was absolutely the best I have ever had. My partner who usually just leaves the bare crust untouched, ate every bite of it. Since we were so many people, we got to try many varieties. Among the vegetarian ones, I loved the chevre, the funghi, conciato, and the sorrentina. We also ordered a pistachio ( with sausage replaced by onions) and it tasted great too. The chili oil on the pizza was fantastic !
Among desserts, the tiramisu and the mousse (tartufo) were a spectacular hit among everyone. All others were great too.
I went in there with sky high expectations after reading all the reviews and hearing about it from friends. And this place lived up to every bit of it.

This place was highly recommended by a friend from Italy, who raves about it being the most authentic Italian place here in Chicago. Will definitely be back! We had a mini-reunion ladies lunch here on a lovely Sunday afternoon
—the ambiance is perfect, cozy, warm and well-lit from the inside. We each ordered an individual pizza, I got the mushroom one which also came with tomato and basil. The crust was the perfect texture with the right softness and thinness. Ok, I had thought I’d practice portion control and save half of the pizza for later, but noooope, finished everything in one sitting (gotta love those carbs…) AND had the peach dessert with ice cream afterwards too… and the tiramisu some of the others got was also delicious.

Can a pizza be elegant? I think so now. Pizzas and desserts are both artfully prepared and thoughtfully designed. Did I mention how delicious each dish was? It's impossible to choose a favorite. We will be back often.

This is a great place to get together with friends and family. Seating is spaced pretty well inside. Everything was neat and clean. One draw back to service was the waiter asked us to keep our knives and forks after eating appetizers. Would have liked new forks as we had several appetizers. Also, When they brought the 3 uncut pizzas they didn’t provide the pizza cutters and we initially tried to cut with our butter knives and then had to ask for these. The pizzas were all spot on authentic delicious Napoli style pizza. The crust was airy, light and had the perfect chew. The appetizers; arancini balls had a very nice taste with a little peppery kick and cheese in the middle, the barrata (homemade semi soft mozzarella type cheese) was oozing over bread slices and tasted wonderful. Salads were simplistic and were nice with the pizzas and helped cleanse your pallet of flavors from one pizza to the next. Any pizza you order here is going to be great! The pizza sauce is san marzano tomatoes and they are generous with all the toppings. Great selection of wines and perseco (of course!) We weren’t rushed and the noise level was low allowing us to all hear one another’s conversation.

Wow is an understatement. The pizza was everything I could ask for! Every bite was followed by a happy dance. Soft yet crispy. Fresh ingredients. Amazing service. Everyone was so helpful and fast. ???? Gerson was great, he explained all of our options, gave us some amazing recommendations. We are coming back- for sure!!!
