There are no words to describe the blissful treats created by the bakers at Sugar Moon. I have tried a few times to get in to no avail. Why? The lines start before opening and are long. I arrived 8:45 with 25 people ahead of me. The man behind me assured me it wouldn't take an hour. I was out by 9:30. I scored so many amazing treats but the star were the gluten free cake slices they made for me. Absolutely sublime. Heaven on Earth and worth the wait.

Thank goodness this place isn’t open every day or I’d weigh a million pounds. We live right around the corner and it’s hard not to go every day. The cloud cookie is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life. You really can’t go wrong with any of the sweet or savory pastries honestly (in particular the brioches and cakes). The line today was down the block and around the corner, but I promise it’s worth the wait. Get there in the morning before they sell out for the day. Love to see little gems like this flourish on this side of our neighborhood!

This place always delivers with the goods! Both savory and sweet, they know what they’re doing. Last time we went we got the Giardiniera Foccacia as part of our order and it was actually spicy! Magnificent!

One of the best bakeries in chicago. Brioches and galettes are great. A lot of unique pastries that you can’t find elsewhere. Be sure to get there early before they sell out.

Loved the savory scone and blondie, pistachio cookie was otherworldly fluffy. Cool selection, Hexe coffee, and great staff. Will be back!

Corn Flakes Espresso Cookies was one of my favorite foods. The cookie was soft to bite. I can taste some chocolate and a little bit of Coffee. It tastes sweet and a little bit bitter. The Corn flakes were also sweet. Since it has sugar on it. It was also crunchy and perfect for cookies.
Since I love cookies I order a box of it that contains a different kind of cookie. The box was pretty good. It has a Pear Brioche, Tahini Choc Chip, Espresso Corn Flakes Cookie, Banana Bread and Fig Cookie. All of it tastes so good when I eat them. I enjoy eating those and I will be back here again and again. I highly recommend this shop for you. Come and try this place.

We are big fans of this place since their opening. The rhubarb brioche bun today was truly special and maybe my new favorite. Poblano cheese scone was so tender and savory. Best weekend treats anywhere. Come early because they sell out!!

If you’re in the area and haven’t been to sugar moon yet literally what are you doing? Everything I’ve tried has been a hit but they have the best brioche recipe in the city and are constantly making perfect little treats with it. Always love the savory ones they do with egg in the middle, but today? They had a strawberry rhubarb one that brought me to tears. Run don’t walk while rhubarb is in season. Plus they have my favorite chocolate chip cookies ever. Thanks for being a delight every time!

Such a nice little bakery with a homemade vibe. I walked in today and wanted one of everything! Delicious scones - both savory and sweet were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Wonderful Brussels sprouts (never thought these would be so good for breakfast) galette with onion jam. Wish I lived in Chicago so I could go every week.

I've walked in twice so far. The savory scones and biscuits are my favorite! Cookies are legit. Cakes are delectable. All options are specially unique.
