I highly recommend this place ????????This place is very popular for lunch, brunch, or dinner because the vibe is amazing it's like a California vibe well with the light, bright, and coastal vibe. The service was excellent and the service as well. Waitress Christine was very friendly and nice to us❤️We celebrated my husband’s birthday ???? The food was delicious and the bakery was very good we loved the chocolate chip cookie ???? Excited to go back!
Last minute choice after a day at Lincoln Park Zoo with the family wanted something fresh after asking my brother who manages a restaurant downtown he gave me three recommendations one being Summer House now I will come to this place more often wife order summer pizza special which was soooo good and can taste the fresh ingredients I order the crab salad it was so refreshing while my daughter had the kids cheeseburger(she is a big fan of burgers but picky) she loved it. Can't wait to come back! Drinks were great too!

Light and airy dining! Especially in the "Vitamin D room". Food is amazing! Love the Wilshire Blvd Salad. Their vinaigrette dressing is amazing. I could chug it ????. Their menu is seasonal at times, but one of their versions of the Burrata with green olives (I think it may be a spring version) ..is probably the best I've ever had! Thin dainty fries too! My friend had crab cakes which were also amazing. I could eat here everyday!
Don't forget the amazing desserts at the table as well as the cookie and dessert bakery to go, located at the entrance. The cookies are huge and wonderful!

The pizza tasted like microwaved, not crisp but very cold, hard and dry, wasted the handcraft dough as they mentioned on their website; Fries are cold and soggy, cheeses are cold, tasted like a leftover from other tables. We did not complain at the moment, and we thought this restaurant reheated the food sourced from some factory like the fast-food restaurants, and maybe they are those places for alcohol only (quality of food is not a priority) but found out it’s not what they advertise on their website. Also, the waiter was rude when we asked for the check, he threw the receipt to the table, and we were shocked; maybe he was in a bad mood or had arguments with someone else before serving us. If you are looking for a place to take IG photos and hang out with friends, it’s good for you. Not a restaurant for food and drinks. With this pricing, I have better options in the city with similar interior designs but much better service and food. I feel sorry I booked this restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday with her friends. It’s an Instagram-worthy restaurant, but not for me.

We liked few items of the food we ordered: the truffle fries, sweet potatoe fries, fish tacos and the halibut were very good but the salad and the cavatelli were ok. For dessert we ordered the banana waffles, chocolate chip cookies and Rice Krispies, all were good.
The service was ok. Need reservations to get a table especially on weekends
I found nearby garage parking for $8 or you can find paid street parking.

Great lunch spot! You walk in and immediately smell truffle because of the piles of truffle fries everyone gets (highly recommend). Truly everything is delicious. The English muffins on the sandwiches were kind of weird, but other than that no complaints. Tuna tartar and shaved Brussels sprout salad were fab.

This place is always crowded so a reservation is a must. But a very popular place for lunch, brunch, or dinner because the vibe is amazing — they really play on the California vibe well with the light, bright, and coastal vibe. With an amazing food selection you cannot go wrong with anything you choose from the menu. The service was excellent and the bakery up front was just divine! Excited to go back!

Spent a very fun evening at Summer House and had a great time! The food was delicious and the service was great. I do think the prices were pretty high, and I'm not sure how soon I'll go back just for that reason.
I really recommend the crispy Brussel sprouts and the burrata, and I loved their pasta. The chocolate cake dessert was phenomenal too.
Very large space but it was full on a weekend so make sure to get a reservation!

A friend took me to lunch to celebrate my birthday. We both had the roasted pumpkin soup, which was rich and tasty but served almost room temperature. Also both ordered the Cobb salads, and they were large and loaded with fresh ingredients.
This restaurant is known for its fresh baked monster cookies. There's usually a variety to choose from, and you can order them to go if you want. I'm picky when it comes to cookies, and I didn't care for the complimentary birthday one... too sweet and too chewy.
The service was efficient, but we had at least four different servers in the 90 minutes we were there. It was packed for lunch, so probably best to make a reservation.
