Sushi Suite 202 was a great experience! The fish was DE-licious, fresh, & beautifully and simply prepared. Six of us (3 couples of sorts) had a great time and grew from strangers to comfortable fellow humans by the end of the evening. Relaxed! Did not feel rushed. Did not feel scammed. No surprises. Peyton our coordinator thoroughly explained the sake choices if we decided we would like a glass or a flight pairing. No pressure. The 17 piece "course" was plenty. Though we definitely wanted to try the wagyu beef special offering at the end. The environment was LOVELY--swanky. Recommend.
If you didn't want to add anything (drink or wagyu) you walk away with just the prepaid reservation tab and hopefully another 10-15% tip for the great staff. Not sure what other reviews referred to. Only bummer was that it was a bday surprise and wanted to confuse my guy by getting that key to Suite 202 at Front Desk like the original concept had in mind. But they decided against this process for line times and covid. So you still check in at Front Desk at the hotel Lincoln lobby, but then walk up to the 2nd floor behind the Front Desk and wait to be called into the Suite. Thete is a seating area there. It's still a surprise if you're trying to do that for someone by bringing them to a hotel and finding out it's a ???? omakase dealy..! Great sake...great cocktails--Marco was a great mixologist. Will go back and bring 5 other friends!! It only seats six (6) and chef Aries said they have 5 seatings a night. We were the first seating @ 5pm ish.
We went on a double date to check out Sushi Suite 202 and we had nothing less than a spectacular visit. The suite itself is intimate and decorated so nicely, you really do forget you’re in a hotel room. Vibes and ambiance were everything and the music was on point the whole night. We loved the personal and up close experience with the whole team. Alex and Ivan, at the bar and McKenna, our maitre d really made our night enjoyable. They have the perfect team to welcome you and make sure you have a great time. Chef Edison (Cuatro) was amazing! Loved how personable he is and how he explained every dish. The sushi was fantastic! All the cuts were of the best quality of fish. We’ve had sushi in Japan before and could tell the suite serves the highest quality and they get their fish delivered from Japan! It’s hard to choose which cut was my favorite. I also love how knowledgeable the team was about the restaurant, alcohol, fish, and even the decor they have on display (including the small glass sake cups hand blown by a Japanese women) such unique touches to enhance your experience. We loved our first visit and can’t wait to go again!

What an incredible experience. I’ve done a few Omakase meals and this one was by far the best. The intimate seating is really great, and the chef, Michael, was really great to talk to. I don’t drink alcohol, and they were also able to make me a great mocktail at the bar. Can’t wait to have it again!

My husband treated me and two friends to dinner here to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. We had an AMAZING time! Every single piece of sushi was delicious. It was awesome to sit directly in front of the chef and listen to him explain each dish in detail. He was very friendly and was happy to converse and answer any questions we had during our meal. Of course, the location is unique and fun, but it was the food that made this experience so great. I will be dreaming about this dinner for years!

Amazing! Truly an awesome experience! The vibe the staff creates is fun yet chill. The sushi is incredible and fresh and Chef Moon (I hope that's right...the saki flowed heavy that night) is the man! Loved the drinks and saki pairings...the music! It's an intimate setting which truly makes you feel like you're chilling in your friends home.

Fun and delicious experience worth the cost! Fresh fish flown in from Japan creatively prepared by chef Moon. The cocktails were delicious too. If you were on the fence, you won't regret going.

Absolutely fantastic on all fronts. The sushi from Chef Mike was the best I’ve had, the drinks from Alex were beyond delicious, and the service from Kate was above top notch. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The entire experience felt very personal and almost like having your own personal sushi restaurant. Great atmosphere and vibe in general - classy and upscale, but still fun and relaxed. Definitely get the sake pairing. All of the selections were tremendous. Highly recommend giving Sushi Suite 202 a try!

Took a date..... we both loved the sushi. If you follow me then you know I'm a huge sushi fan! They had great choices and the sake is in the pictures..... I do not like sake but this girl got me into it with this bottle. Small recommendation to you all.

From the moment you walk in Sushi Suite, you walk in another dimension of a culinary experience. The server greets you and walks you to the bar so you may enjoy a cocktail. The bartender does a dealer choice so that your palette may be put at ease. In a short moment, you are then walked to the sushi bar where Chef Jordan does the unspeakable, which is of course making you as a guest forget that you are in Chicago. You are relishing in the present moment, as any diner should be that is in the hands of a Chef.
Each piece of nigiri is well made and cut to order. Each different than the next, only to compliment the flavors that came before and after. Every sensation of your palette is pleased and I must say it is the best sushi I had in a very long time.
Do your palette a favor and get the Omakase. Throw everything you thought you knew or think you know about sushi. Open your mind because your soul will thank you later.
Take in each bite as is. Like in Japan, use your hands to savor the nigiri. Don't dunk the nigiri in a bowl of wasabi and soy. The sushi gods will be pleased if you take everything as is.
Side Note:
Sushi Suite 202 is on the second floor inside the Lincoln Hotel. Take the stairs, and enjoy the vintage photos as well. Look for the red sign with the numbers 202 and knock loudly!

Absolutely amazing experience. From the sushi, to the drinks, to the staff ; everything was awesome. Our night started with a flight of 3 different small cocktails that were all delicious and unique from anything I've ever drank. We ended up ordering whole cocktails of one of them. The bartenders Debbie and Marco then whipped us up a drink based on what kind of flavor profile we wanted and they absolutely nailed it. Then we moved over to our chef who whipped up 17 delicious pieces of sushi that completely blew us away. The staff ( who were really more like friends as the night went on) were super nice and friendly and easy to joke around with. There was never a dull moment. I've never had an omakase style dinner before but am so glad this was my first experience and I will definitely be coming back. P.S shoutout to Brandon who was hilarious and cleaned our plates in between courses, making me feel like the royalty I truly am.

A brilliant gem hidden in Hotel Lincoln. Ascend the art adorned wall to the second floor and knock on a door outlined by a bright red doorframe before being welcomed into an intimate speakeasy. The experience alludes of an exclusive dinner party hosted by marvelous masterminds of each craft.
Chef Jordan’s creative vision and articulate execution highlights a harmony of flavors, allowing each fish to shine with a rich umami that instantly melts in your mouth. Chris is an impeccable host, meticulously attentive and provides thoughtful sake recommendations and pairings in collaboration with the chef. Marco’s mixology is also exceptional, concocting the perfect cocktail depending on personal preferences and desired flavor profile.
Each visit is unique, recommend visiting more than once. We immediately made a returning reservation as soon as we walked out the door after our first. At our second visit we had the pleasure of having Chef Moon as well as Chef Jordan. Looking forward to our next visit.

Sushi Suite 202 is located in Hotel Lincoln. When we knocked on the door 202, the host greeted us gently, great cocktail flights, personally liked Butterfly kiss the most. Chef Moon Started with sunomono with crabs, ikura which was very balanced and tasty. All other dishes were nigiri sushi. They melted in my mouth. Would recommend visiting their rooftop bars too!

Very high end but overall a fun, lively experience. It felt like and was very special meal. The fish was of superb quality and was curated for flavors and textures very thoughtfully. Personally, I loved all the different types of mackerel. Who knew!? Jordan, the chef, explained the fish very well and was pleasant to us despite our boisterous nature. We had alot of fun. Being in a hotel suite, there is not much cooking to be expected, as I had anticipated, but that being said it would have been nice to have a couple of occasional different types of food other than nigiri like a salad, pickle or seaweed course. But also it felt like I was away on a trip too which was welcome in these times of covid. Every team member was clearly enjoying the entertainment aspect of the night and we all loved it. One thing I really appreciated as well was the pacing. The bites came quickly so you were never 'wanting.' Trust Marko to make you a fantastic cocktail and you are in for a very memorable time.
