Service was great and they have an all you can eat option on weekends.

First time trying this sushi place, so delicious! Did the all you can eat deal, which is good if you want to try a variety of sushi. The only catch is that you must finish all the sushi or else you will be charged for leftovers. You are allowed to take the leftovers.

The miso soup was cold, but otherwise, I had a great sushi experience! $28 for all you can eat, and I'd say it's worth it! Very popular, so make a reservation unless you don't mind a little wait.

Showed up about 3:38pm to find out it was closed for cleaning/restocking/break. They opened up for dinner hour at 4:30pm. Shortly after opening at least a 3rd of the inside was full with a few people eating outside. Wheelchair accessible but no parking. They have a decent wine selection and although didn't actually look at the menu due to eating the AYCE, they do have a huge variety. AYCE says $30per person plus taxes is about $70 for two people, that's not counting beverages. Overall staff was nice and food was awesome.

Long time fan of both Sushi Taku locations in Chicago. They offer a greater variety of appetizers and rolls than many other places in the area and charge only slightly more. Fish quality is always fresh due to the sheer amount of daily clientele and I have yet to be dissatisfied eating here. Do not plan on coming here and ordering off the normal menu- getting AYCE is much more worth it.

So far this is the best all you can eat sushi place in Chicago that I have tried. Their appetizers are so good. Just be careful on how much you order. Order just a little bit and then order again. Their portion sizes are big and you may order too much and they will make you pay for it if you don’t finish.

A few things to keep in mind:
1. They have all you can sushi but be pretty sure you will finish what you order. Any extra remaining sushi pieces are charged 1 dollar per piece.
2. The food is amazing. The shrimp lollipops, the Phoenix rolls, and smoked salmon were my personal favorite.
3. The wait times are long especially in the weekends. We had to wait an hour and a half.
4. The service is great though. Worth the experience.

These sushi pieces are delicious but HUGE!!! Didn’t get the chance to try many different rolls because each roll is huge…and they charge $1 for each left over piece…

All you can eat sushi is great. Almost everything I tried was delicious. The only gripe I would have is that the tempura Oreos weren't quite fresh. Everything else was very yummy, strawberry mochi ice cream was crazy good

This place is no lie, legit!
Definitely try the all you can eat, it is more than worth it especially if you have a party of three or more. Unlike some other all you can eat sushi restaurants that try to get away with giving you like the basic rolls this place gave you the specials the basic rules and they were all phenomenal. On top of it the appetizers that we chose were delicious along with the desserts which were the cheesecake and the mango mochi which were divine.
It is BYOB which is an added bonus, but please be advised that there is a $10 corking charge.
The staff was super friendly and all in all this place was an amazing experience.

5* for the service and management, and as for the Sushi, I'd say it's OK for an AYCE. But that said, many of the fish cuts were cold which makes a big difference in texture and taste compared to room temp Sushi and Sashimi. We liked two of the 5 rolls we ordered. The other three ranged between meh and palatable, none were bad. The nigiri was really good though. At the end of the day, I paid $75 for two people, which could have got me better a la carte Sushi at a higher end place. 5* for service and management, 3* for the Sushi and 4* for the value.

Just YUM ???? I discovered this place ordering Door Dash & UberEats in 2021 and finally decided to provide feedback. I’ve only ordered to enjoy in my home so this review will not have an “indoor experience” although they are open for dining. My latest order was the Signature Roll (2). I ordered the Spicy 2 for 1 roll and the Fire Phoenix roll. The combo comes with miso soup, which is tasty. I also ordered the Mexican roll. So, here’s the feedback:
Spicy 2 for 1 roll….all salmon & tuna…no veggies to break it up. No avocado. The result is a dense, yet tasty roll.
Fire Phoenix roll…a great selection. This is a fresh roll thanks to the cucumber! This is a popular roll for the restaurant!
Mexican roll…WOW! I love yellowtail! The jalapeño is the spark! Fresh and SPICY! Fresh jalapeño! Hello! ????
Upon thinking about this review I realized that I prefer the “fresh” tasting roll. Cucumber in a roll is a winner for me. I’ve been eating sushi for decades but the pandemic made me dial in closer to some things…my tastebuds being one of them!
This is a great sushi ???? restaurant!

Good place to have all-you-can eat sushi ????
$28 for whatever you like, is pretty fair isn’t it?
The quality of their sushi is not excellent, but you can still enjoy it with their sushi options.
Just FYI that if you leave any sushi in your plate you will be charged $1 per remaining.
