Enjoyed coming here. Wait staff was extremely friendly and the food was really good. The cinnamon roll pancakes were phenomenal, really cool twist on pancakes. The biscuits and gravy had a bit of a kick to them, wouldn’t get this if you’re sensitive to spice. Everything was very fairly priced, will definitely come back again!

There is no way in the world the lemonade they make should taste so damn good!!!! Yes, if you are in this area, you must stop by this amazing Cafe. The food is outstanding and the Strawberry Lemonade is the best you'll ever have. The vibe is cozy and welcoming.

Listen—the cinnamon roll pancakes are out of this world. Food was fresh and delicious. Place is small and homey—you’re not going for the opulence, but for the amazing meal and experience.

First time attending, greeted by the window and was asked for a covid card...
I ordered to go as I did not have one at the time. Coffee and a breakfast combo, cheesy eggs were very fluffy with a side old crispy bacon, yummy!
Potatoes were a golden brown, needed a bit of salt I thought.
My toast never maded into my bag unfortunately, will have to return for lunch items..worth the wait.

I would not recommend. I made a very simple specific order and I was so irritated to get home & find it was dry and not at all what I expected. Sausage Gravy was dry and in a little tiny condiment cup which was not nearly enough for their biscuit I was so mad. Definitely would not be going back. This was my first and last visit.

I'd love for this place to be my secret spot, but I want everyone to know how good it is. Every time we go back to Chicago, we try to hit up Sweet Maple for breakfast. Something about the Midwest with their kindness and friendliness that just enhances your food and this place gives you helpings of that.
While I love their coffee here, the pancakes are where it'd at. So large and soft like eating a pillow in my mouth, haha. On this special day, like the photo of their chalkboard special I added shows, they were serving their CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES ????. OMG people, if there is anything to get there you MUST get this if they have it. They nailed it. Taste of a cinnamon roll on a soft pancake. Like Christmas for your mouth. Their omelets and hash and other dishes are quite good, but man oh man that pancake...
Do yourself a favor and go here

place is good, but I was surprised at how inexperienced my waitress was. She was at my table every few minutes, and just standing at the counter watching me. Midway between my meal, she came over and asked if she could bring me to go containers, then she came over with the check, explaining how to leave a tip, then reaching over me to sat it down, all while I was still eating. Next, some guy came to the table and started removing items, while I was still eating…rushing me to leave! The service was the worst ever. Just a tad bit of advice, let the patrons eat in peace!

We are in Chicago for a festival and came here for breakfast befor going. We went on a Friday morning around 9am no wait street parking for 2.50 a hr and free on Sundays
The food was good but nothing crazy. I got loaded potatoes with biscuits n gravyy my girl got cinnamon roll pancakes and coffee all good just not enough to come back
Very friendly and attentive staff
The dinning area looks very rough and needs a few coats of paint or something. old table, chairs, table cloth ect
You will need a covid card if you want to dine in

Such a friendly and delicious place! The food portions are great, and everything is always fresh and tastes amazing. I love comping by for breakfast or to pick up their homemade biscuits. The best breakfast place in all Chicago!

Came here on a Saturday morning and there was a short wait. The person at front was very friendly and would let people know who was next each time she brought someone inside or let folks know how much longer.
The decor is what you expect from a breakfast place. It was quaint and made me feel like i was eating at grandma's.
Service was nice and always kept my cup of coffee full.
The food was excellent! I'm usually a savory person, but couldn't resist ordering the cinnamon roll pancakes. My wife ordered the French toast

I went here for the first few time not too long ago (it turned into back-to-back visits because it’s just that good), and I’ve been craving it ever since. Staff was so kind. I ordered the Egg and Cheeser and the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, and I LOVED them both. So so so good!

My weekend in Chicago was nothing but good food. We sat outside for breakfast. You can seat yourself, but you have to order at the window. No separate checks, no dine-in. The food was excellent. The staff was super nice!

Beautiful morning to sit outside and enjoy breakfast! Protein Power Scramble and fresh fruit bowl was delicious and the wait was short! Can't go wrong with this place if you are visiting Chicago

Everything had a homemade touch, and was absolutely delicious! If you have to try anything get their fresh biscuit, otherwise french toast and grits were amazing. The employees and owner were very sweet! If you are thinking of going, do it now to support them during the pandemic!
