Got the surf and turf, Thai chili rock shrimp, Cajun shrimp, calamari, wagyu meatballs, Keylime pie! You get what you pay for; Beautiful on the second floor with views of the street below!
Tavern on Rush has been known as one of the best places in all of Chicago for the last 25 years. If you sit inside or on the patio you will not be disappointed! You will likely run in friends or celebrities at this chicago staple! All of the food selections are traditionally great options. The chicken Parmesan was a favorite this time around. The Seabass my friends raved of. The espresso martinis and wine where exactly what we needed. Hopefully we’ll make it back before the end of the year!

Tavern on Rush is an upscale restaurant specializing in steaks, seafood, and drinks. We were here on a Sunday morning in the middle of summer and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered a standard breakfast with two eggs over easy, side of chicken sausage. I have to note that the the homemade breakfast potatoes were fantastic. My hubby had an avocado BLT turkey sandwich and the portion was huge! The sandwich was delicious. They have a whole selection of drinks, from Mimosa to bloody Mary and a great wine selection. We definitely will be coming back! Tons of seating in their outdoor patio as well.

Another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Always a good idea to make reservations here. Breakfast/Brunch was great and not super-filling. Ordered the Avocado Toast and Eggs, Prime Ribeye (12oz), and a side of Bacon. Hung around to grab a few more cocktails. This place is a good spot for people-watching and would love to sit outside on the next visit.

The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing!! The 2nd floor definitely has the best views of the triangle. The tomato bisque soup and seared Hawaiian tuna were outstanding. Capped it off with an espresso.

This place is pretty good. It was quite loud inside because it was a very busy part of the day, and there were lot of groups. Despite the fact that the restaurant was almost full, we got a table right away, which was surprising. We could even choose between dining area and lounge. Our waitress was nice, but not very attentive. Prior to coming to this place we visited another restaurant and the lady there was much friendlier. Food-wise this place is good. The octopus was better than in other restaurants we visited, wasn’t burned, but was spicy. We also shared a caprese and since we were going to share, they divided the dish into two plates, which was very considerate of them. Comparing with another restaurants in the area, this one is slightly worse in our opinion, but we still had a satisfactory experience.

Omggg went did we wait so long to try this spot... The atmosphere was great and food was amazing... It's a modern take on with an old school steak house feel...

Very accommodating my son with autism! They gave us a private room to make him feel comfortable! Cajun shrimp app and calamari were very good!

Had an excellent birthday dinner here! Our waitress was friendly and attentive. She honestly rocked, I wish I remembered her name. Word got around that it was my birthday and I got a free dessert. The drinks were great too!

The reason I went with 3 stars is due to the fact that the restaurant was over crowded and understaffed. Sitting outside was really nice and the food was decent. Great outdoor vibe and location. I think I would definitely give the restaurant another chance as I know restaurants are struggling to find staff. The service was mediocre and the drinks were overpriced.

I was very impressed with the food at ToR! I was expecting it to be generic and just a step above frozen food, but this was not the case. They do have the best seats for people watching. The menu items are moderately priced, and the wait staff are friendly. I won't be running back here, but it is good for what it is.
