I just ordered 2 slices of stuff pizza but the dough was raw. When I called back the gentleman who answered the phone informed me that the owner said it was fully cooked. I'm going back after work but will never ever order from them again. I was a long time client and referred them to our tenants. Never Again.

As much as I traveled many states Chicago my home town has gave me a place that even when u are full u can't stop eating this pizza I love the freshness sorry for all the others and as an retired chef I give this place a 4 and a half stars ... hope u all enjoy this one

Great spot to buy deep dish by the slice, or wait 30-45 minutes for a full deep dish pie (worth the wait). A Chicago-staple with awesome daily specials. What it lacks in ambiance, it makes up by being BYOB and having a Jewel across the street.

Hidden gem. Secretly one of the best pizza joints in Chicago
I first found them in high school when I didn't know about pizza places besides the franchises like pizza hut or dominos and they blew me away. Instantly my favorite but as a suburban kid I couldn't make the trek to come out here to get pizza. Then the time comes when I was gifted the opportunity to bring pizza to a party and my wife asked me where we should order it from. My eyes lit up as I knew exactly where to go. It's been years and this place still doesn't disappoint. Thin or deep all of it hits the spot. Needless to say the pizza was a hit at the party and people kept asking where it was from. It's simply the art of pizza, baby.

Was feigning for a thin, cheese slice. Never been here. Searched for a place that sold slices in the downtown area, and I'm sold! Best ever. Tastes good, right size, and not too heavy. Enjoy!!! Slice was $4.75. I would have given a 5 star, but nothings perfect right? I'll have to go back again to see.

The Art of Pizza has been a staple in Chicago for a very long time. I’m happy to see them still doing very well. Spring Break visit…got a cheesy beef dipped with hot peppers and steak fries! The rest of the family got slices of their favorite stuffed/deep dish pizza…oh and some fettuccini Alfredo! So good!!! Oscar is the best! I have been coming here for over 15+ years! ????????

Art of Pizza is Chicago's best kept pizza secret and at ridiculously awesome prices. The crust is buttery without being greasy. They don't skimp out on toppings either. And I've never had a rude person at the counter - they all make you feel like they've known you for years!

The pizza slice was alright, as others mentioned it was cold/warm, we ordered it because we're looking for a quick bite, in the past we ordered the whole pan pizza and when it's eaten hot and just made it so delicious that makes it one of the best deep dish pizza in Chicago, unfortunately also the ribeye steak sandwich wasn't that good or at least not my favorite the meat was very hard, fatty and flavorless it was missing some seasoning on it and the bread was stale. However I would be back only for the whole pan pizza.

With one opportunity to have genuine Chicago stuffed pizza, The Art of Pizza was the right choice. Easy to get to and off-street parking is a plus! If I never make it back to Chicago, I can still go to heaven satisfied!

One of my favorite pizza places in Chicago! The staff are always quick to take and fulfill orders. The pizza has always been reasonably priced and very high quality. A staple pizza joint for anyone looking for some good deep dish!

I had the stuffed special pizza slice. It was good but had some areas for improvements.
It was lukewarm. It would have been so much better if it was hotter.
Pizza was also juuuust a little doughy. Probably would have been less noticeable if it the pizza was hotter.
Probably wouldn’t bother again.

Ordered a pan pizza that was decent. The crust is not as crispy and buttery as a typical pan pizza. Very cheesy though and the toppings were plentiful.
Also got buffalo wings, fries, breaded mushrooms, carrot cake and chocolate cake.
The buffalo wings and fries were good, but the breaded mushrooms were burnt and the cake was pretty dry with a pretty boring flavor.
Honesty, for pan pizza, I'll stick with Pequods.

I really appreciate that there is a place in Chicago where i can purchase deep dish by the slice. These slices are delicious and filled with tasty meats and veggies!! IMO it rivals some of the more well known tourist favorites. Ill definitely be coming back for more.

We've been going here for years. Though my out of town guests disagree that stuffed pizza is, indeed pizza, I think I have a hard time arguing that it's maybe also a casserole? It's such a delightful pizza/casserole, either way, so never change, baby.

Hands down the best Chicago Style (Deep dish) I’ve ever had, and I’ve lived in the Chicagoland all my life. The sauce is in a league of its own, and unlike some deep dish, that sometimes has a bit of undercooked dough, this one was cooked well-done without even asking. Couldn’t recommend this pie enough— El Presedente— your review nailed it.

Hands down the best pizza place in Chicago. The best slice of pizza you will ever get…. It might be a good thing I don’t live near here anymore. They have classic thin crust cheese or deep dish. It’s always fresh and always available. My go to order is a slice of cheese, slice of pepperoni and a deep dish slice of mushroom, onion, sausage and green pepper. You will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing. They sell the deep dish by the slices and is the only place that I know of that has a variety of options.
I recommend the steak sandwich really good and a slice of deep dish.
My only issue is there cups and lids. If you purchase a drink especially their large the lid doesn't stay on securely and if you grab it to hard it pops right off. The guy told me and it still happened but whatever
