Went the other night and I will say, what awesome burgers, beer and patio. Love the staff and that they continue to check vax cards for THEIR safety and the safety of OTHERS. Despite what some other entitled reviewers have stated, covid is STILL A REAL THREAT no matter how bad they want to believe "It's over". Keep up the good work, appreciate all you do !!
We thought we would try a little dive bar for some easy to grab bar food. While we weren't expecting an amazing experience knowing it was a dive bar, we did expect more than we got.
Upon arriving we waited 18 minutes before anyone came to take an order - even just for drinks - from us. One guy dropped 2 empty glasses, stacked, and a pitcher of water at our table and walked away. No hello. No your server will be right with you.
When a server did come, he was pleasant. Food and drinks were delivered quickly after we ordered. The cheese fries were not good. Chicken tenders and Mac and cheese weren't bad for a sports bar.
While I was eating, something fell on my arm from the ceiling and after looking at my arm, it was a small worm/maggot of some sort. This ended any desire to eat the food. I am sure it was just a freak coincidence, but that coupled with the lack of attention despite being walked by and looked at dozens of times did not leave a good taste in our mouths.
Probably a decent place to come watch a game, sit at the bar, and drink a beer - but not the place to sit down at a table and grab some food.

I came for trivia night and had a blast.
The burger was very hefty, but there was no lettuce and tomato on it, I like a hot burger with cool veggies, but it was delicious none the less.
I also got a michelada and it was spicy AF. I like it though!
The fries came with mayo and I like that.
The chicken fangers were good too.

Great outdoor patio with TV's (inside and out). Classic burger w/ American cheese. Similar to the one @ Stop Along. Great selection of draft beers. My fiancée ordered the piña colada, which was all that it's cracked up to be. I really like that they have $2 tacos and $2 shots of rosé available (even if I'm not a fan of rosé), because you generally don't see deals like that in Chicago. If you're looking for a fun, casual spot where you can sit outside, then The Moonlighter is the spot for you!

The double cheeseburgers were great. The martinis not so much. Should have stuck with the beer and burgers. Pablo was excellent and adjusted our drink needs to our satisfaction. He really went above and beyond to insure a pleasant evening. Very happy with our dining experience.

First time visit to The Moonlighter. The staff were great, vaxx & ids still required as of 5-Jun-22. Food was good, though a tad greasy. Pina colada were little small for the price but tasty. Would comeback.

We sat outside and tired the vegan wings. They were delish- highly recommend trying them. The cocktails are nice too.
They are very dog friendly, the day we went there were dogs everywhere ???? They even have an IG account for all of the dogs that visit.

This place is at a good location, offers specials certain days, tacos are good, plenty of drinks and they have a large open space with plenty of seating. Paid parking around, feel free to walk around. Humboldt Park and the 606 are near.
They offer pitchers, non alcoholic drinks too.

It was my first time there and I reserved a outside table. The place was nice and clean and the staff was very attentive and nice. The food was really really good. The thing I didn't like was people could bring their dogs to eat with them on the patio, but not sure about the inside dining. It wasn't an issue until it was like 4-5 dogs out there and they got to barking and trying to fight each other. Also they shake and hair flying everywhere can possibly get in my food but other than that I would recommend this place but next time I will dine on the inside
